Best demonstration of the vocal synthesis feature I’ve seen yet. This thing is impressive, especially for the price. They’ll sell them by the truckload.

thank you for this demonstration, I am torn between cts1000 and cts500, because I don't think I will play much with the vocals, however I love choir sounds,, so I wonder when you where showing the Choir at 2:14, was that a sound effect that exist on both CTS1000 and 500, or is that exclusive to 1000?.. thanks

No, only on the 1000.

Hi Ralph nice demo. I don’t like these vocoder type effects. On the other hand, I really dig these choir voices. They could be nice to make Gospel choirs beyond the usual “Ah”, “Oh” and “Doodidooda”. The strap thing is absolutely ridiculous. It’s much better to have a proper keyboard stand. If you’re above 10 years of age, TITS. Do you intend to demo the sounds, styles and effects of this instrument which goes way beyond a speech synthesis module? Thanks.
@RalphMaten3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I know what you mean. The choir vould be very useful for gospel music. For me I see this keyboard more as a cool gadget synth but for students and beginners it‘s a perfect allround keyboard with lots of sounds and possibilities.

How do you describe the action of the keys compared to what you might expect from a generic grand piano?

I’ve been using GarageBand iOS for over 7 1/2 years and there is bit crusher on it which gives some sort of speak and spell effects and is good enough if you also add other effects in conjunction with bit crusher. Remember when music was made by people? Soon people will only know music from machines. This is the sound of the end.
@RalphMaten3 жыл бұрын
Hey my friend, this is nonsense. I play jazz music in clubs, I produce music since 30 years. The same arguments came in the 70s as the first home organs, drum computers and synthesizer came on the music market. They all are instruments. But you don’t have to like them.
@Gruuvin13 жыл бұрын
@@RalphMaten it's not nonsense. You should know just as well as I do how much music has changed, how little jazz is now evolving, how much music is devolving, and how little talent your average musician/producer has. And if you don't know, then you are young and unwise or just not paying attention to history. There's no doubt that this coincides with the rise of the computer age, which is not simply correlated but there is a causal link. On average, much more people spend more time now interfaced with their computers than with musical instruments.
@tjthenovicerider11382 жыл бұрын
Computers are only aids in making music. Samples, Synthesis, drum machines, etc. They are tools. What the result depends on the talent of a musician/composer. Music is a projection of a musicians soul. No machine can replace human creativity in music. However, they are perfect tools to bring inspiration, ease of workflow, and capturing musical ideas quickly.
