@GabrielMiceli2 жыл бұрын
You'd need to have experience in electronic engineering to be able to find the TxD/RxD pins on the CPU, unsolder them from the board, build a circuit that looks similar to this: i.imgur.com/aCe5wep.jpeg, and then connect those pins to it. There's a partial guide about how to do it with the CTK-480 on Hackaday.

Where can I get a cover and music holder for my Casio CTK-520L?
@GabrielMiceli4 жыл бұрын
You can find just any generic 61-key keyboard cover on ebay or amazon. As for the music holder, I'm having trouble finding those independently, but they also come with more modern keyboards like the LK-165 and the CTK-2300. You may ask some sellers on ebay if you could purchase the music holder separately.

@GabrielMiceli3 жыл бұрын
You'll need to connect the Phones/Output of the keyboard to the line-level audio input of your computer, so that way, you can record the audio coming from your CTK-520L.

Yeah, it's not immediately obvious that it's how the Transpose, Tune, and Key-Light toggle functions are accessed. I knew about the first two via other Casio keyboards, and I just happened to figure out how to do that third thing by randomly finding it in the user's guide. The weird thing is that they called it "turning off the three-step lesson system" at the time. I'm glad that this functions review has benefited you.

Does it have a metronome?
@GabrielMiceli2 жыл бұрын
No, but there are 50 rhythms that can be used without chords, which is the closest thing to a metronome as possible on this keyboard. Most of them are in 4/4, but there are some in 3/4 and 6/4.

Hi!! I'm here again, how to remove the percussion sounds in keys c1 to f2?
@GabrielMiceli2 жыл бұрын
Your word choice is not the best here, so I'll interpret this question in multiple ways: ① To silence the keyboard, set the volume to 0 by pressing the Volume Up △ or Down ▽ button and then the 0 button (3:58). ② To make all keys behave as standard keyboard keys (no chords), set the Power/Mode selector to Normal (1:24). ③ To use chords, set the Power/Mode selector to Casio Chord (easy chord system, 1:35) or Fingered (standard chord forms, 1:43).

PIANO BEAT IS GOING TO SELL THE PIANO CASIO CTK 541 BEFORE HE DOES THE RESERVED RHYTHMS!
@GabrielMiceli2 жыл бұрын
① What gave you that idea? He never said that he would sell it. Correct me if I'm wrong. ② Even if he did, is it my problem if he wants to sell his keyboard? ③ Why are you so obsessed over a small set of rhythms designed exclusively for a song? I'd understand if there's a rhythm reserved for the Song Bank that's used in multiple songs that hasn't already been publicly documented and demonstrated, but there's not. Just listen closely to the background instruments of the song. Shouldn't that be good enough? I've even recreated rhythms that way (and used one in one of the songs in _Casio LK-43 Covers_ back before I even _had_ the CTK-558). What do you even want to do with it, anyway? kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4epgWyEYtWsprM By the way, I only showed the reserved rhythms both because I'm passionate about demonstrating as much of these keyboards' features as possible and because I could. It seems like everyone else who has a CTK-541 and uploaded videos with it either don't care as much about it or won't cooperate (or both), so please chill out. I'll see what I can do.
