It’s amazing how warm phase distortion synthesis can sound!! 😭❤️

The beginning pad sounds almost exactly like some of the pads in certain iconic Silent Hill tracks.

the cz is amongst way more expensive units in my collection of favorites... most underated synth ever... this was a real treet.

This sounds so great! Your videos truly showcase what a hidden gem the CZ series is. I've listened to a few of your albums and they are awesome. Mesmerizing tracks.

This is the best demo I’ve heard both playing and the programming. I got my first CZ when they first came out in around 86.

Why does the 101 command a rather high resale (used) value? I found one - yes, found - a 101 in some curbside stuff. It seems to work but haven't tested it fully. No cartridge either! Thank you 🤓

If the prices are higher, I think it’s just higher prices for everything during the vintage era of the 70s-80s that the CZ was the last part of. I’m quite certain it doesn’t approximate the stuff that came before it, but it’s similar to those on a budget mid to late 80s trying to approximate that and continuing on to the 90s, who would appreciate something this and other mid-late 80s gear

@@hardcorehouse to me it was sort of a lucky find. A hobby I have is looking for electronics in dumpsters and curbside stuff. Also found an Asus monitor but screen is messed up! If I decide to sell it, I wouldn't ask as much as others are asking. Thank you 🤓 can you tell what year it was made by a serial number? I think I read where about 16,500 of the 101 series were made from around 1984 - 1987

Wow, super thick sounds. Saving and loading presets from the iPad makes it even more accessible.

I had a CZ5000 for many years.. Loved it a lot, but when I moved to a smaller apartment it had to go... Wanna get a CZ101 soon, though.. Really miss the CZ-Sound. It's the most unique sounding digital synth in my opinion..
As always, the best demo using a Casio synth. Keep it up!

Thanks for the video. I love everything from the CZ / VZ family. You quickly demonstrated how well a CZ 101 can get 👍 Great! Musical greetings from Germany

My first real synth, so badly abused I ended up soldering the power cable to it when the power input jack broke. I lent it to a band mate years and years ago and never saw it again.. Oh well, happy days.

What are the small cubes - plug ins for the cable jacks? - for? I got a hold of the CZ 101 (curbside stuff) to-day. I got a hold of a suitable wall charger & it seems to works. Thank you 🤓 great sounds you created! I haven't completely tested it yet.
