Wonderful! Just got my old CZ230s out of the storage where its been sitting for years and were looking for some inspiration. And here I found it! 😀

Very nicely done that. Just purchased 3 replacement black keys for mine. Hadn't played it in ages so I unpacked, blew off the dust and it seems to function like new but 3 keys were broken during a few moves since the 90s. Anyway love the demo tune!

Thanx man, hope you have a lot of fun with yours once you have replaced the 3 keys.

Damn ikworgek! You really know how to get the most out of your Casios. I love your HT-6000 demos (there are NONE better) & yourthe CZ-230S demo is just as good/interesting. You really push your Casios to their full potential & the results are pure magical.

Sure bro. But seriously, I've heard many different Casio synth demos, but YOU just seem to have a knack/natural ability, for really bringing out the best/most in them. It's almost as if the CZ & HT line was made for you personally, LOL I've been so impressed by your HT-6000 stuff, that I've even let my mother, aunt & grandmother hear some of it! Even THEY were impressed! I have an HT-6000 & CZ-1, but I just can't seem to get as much out of them as YOU can. You're the undisputed MASTER of CZ/HT!

These 80's sounds remind me of JCVD action movies, or Axel F. Those kind of stuff. Action movies soundtrack.

Hey Paul, can you tell me about what you paid for it? I have one I am considering selling but feel like it's a pretty rare item so I may just hang on to it. Having a hard time finding a good idea of it's worth online so if you could give me an idea that would be great, thanks!

Hey @ikworgek, do you have a service manual or schematic sheet for the Casio CZ-230S? Mine doesn't powering up :/
@digistar410 ай бұрын
Hi MrMateTV I have a Casio CZ-230S digital preprogrammed synthesizer myself, so I can help you here. Have you tried (with the synthesizer switched off) holding down the orange C key, then switch the CZ-230S back on, still holding down the C key? Then release the C key (but don't attack, decay and sustain it first!) Synth joke -- sorry!. This is a kind of "factory reset" for the synth. Are you using your CZ-230S on battery or AC power? If the former, are you sure that your batteries haven't run out? A silly question I know. There is no battery check feature on this synth. If using the synth on AC power, make sure you have the AC adapter plugged into the synth and the AC adapter is plugged in and switched on at the mains! I know that also sounds silly, but I am covering all possibilities here! Anyway, thanks for reading. Alastair C Parker (a mega electronic music fan since the 1970s!)

BTW, I wanted to mention something. When messing around with my HT-6000, I discovered I could get (IMO) a really cool effect, by rapidly changing sound patches/programs w/each note/key. It can also sound cool if you just press/hold a note/key & change patches. (have you ever tried that?) I want to see if I can use a sequencer to synch/time the MIDI program changes w/each key/note change. If/when I make & upload something like that, I hope you'll check it out & give me your honest opinion. :-)
