I own a G-Shock G-5600 Tough Solar and the watch I enjoy wearing it the most is the F-91W because it is very light and practical... I have a special fondness for this classic and basic model from Casio .

I recently picked up a f91w after my casio a168 bracelet gave up after 13 years of daily service. Sure I could buy a set of springbars and put it back together but I figure it's a new year might as well try something else

The Skmei version is the same price and fixes a couple of the drawbacks of this watch (light sucks and water resistance). Otherwise this is my favourite watch in the world, it’s so cheap I don’t need to worry about damaging it, which I do a lot. I also love that it beeps once an hour as it helps me keep track of my day. I think the only single thing I don’t get on with is the button that changes from 12h to 24h mode can be pressed by accident if you retract your wrist towards you.

That does not look like Kuwait, It looks like Scotland or at least somewhere here in UK :-) I modified mine with the movement from a Skmei so the light issue is fixed, and I fitted a black silicone strap to mine so tougher and more comfortable. Great review. Thumbs up.

Currently my Casio DW5600E and W93H are my two favorites. I bought an F91W so we'll see if it grows on me. What I don't like is the fact that it's $15 now. It should be a $10 watch still unless Casio improves it in someway.

Like the casio royale, currently h samuel selling . The casio 2100w is fantastic watch its has world time, full stop watch, timer 5 alarms and it tough like g shock h samuel selling for £20 only with orange strap casio selling same watch £80 from casio watch, this watch is sho sturdy and robust just like a g shock plus 200 meters water resistant. 10 years battery life depends on alarm light utilisation.

I have this watch in my watch collection ..For me, the watch is let down by the poor backlight ..If Casio fixed the poor backlight on this watch then yes it would be a superstar... I give the Casio F91w a 4 out of 5 .

I love the casio m5610u lovely watch but for even £100 from argos is still expensive for what it is, it was for sale around £70 to £80 few months back I missed it, if it goes down to £80 I will buy it defo, perfect watch can't go wrong with multiband 6 atomic time keeping and solar power battery and packed with features, wicked watch. I hate really hate smart watches , have to keep recharging extremely annoying and nonsense, I don't mind the apple 🍏 ultra watch battery lasts about 3 days on full usage but still £900 is a a rip off.

You are of course joking ..The Casio M5610U is worth EVERY penny of £100 I own this watch and I can tell you it is superb value for the money. When you think that you pay £20,000+ for a Rolex..£100 is just "Loose change" ... I also can recommend the Caso DW5600E-IV ..They retail at around £64 GBP here in the UK.. It is "Loose change" for an EPIC watch that will last for years...

I am planning to buy the full metal g shock silver even that they have changed it, the screen us tiny and watch feels bulky. I don't know they used to go for £1000 now they are retailing for £450 but h samuel will price match and sell it for £400 or less. U can't beat f91 serious watch for only £11.

@@immysaiyed2660 ..I also own an F91w and indeed for £11 it is superb value.. Just the backlight is a bit of a letdown ...I 100% Agree with you ... They add unnecessary garbage to watches. I highly recommend the Casio DW5600E-1V it is as close as you can get to the very first Casio G-Shock from 1983. It is old school and has just the bare basics on the watch... Creation Watches sells them for around £64 and if you are not in a hurry for the watch you have the option of free delivery to the UK... It takes around 3-4 weeks for the watch to arrive, however. I have traded with this company a few times now and have no issues. H Samuel is also a great place to buy Casio G-Shocks ..I bought the Casio DW5600BB from them... They also have these on special offer at the moment..However, the negative display is quite hard to read sometimes. Kind regards Brian

I just bought my Casio F91W from my local Walmart and everything adds up to it being real, but the letter "u" is not present under the "RESIST" text?? I know the watch is real but does anyone know why the newer Casio F91W's do not have the letter there at all??

Hi there! The “u” question has been bothering me for a while. I did a comparative review of an F 91 with blue accents and one with green accents and a viewer noticed that on one model there is the simple “u“, whereas on the other model there is “- u - “. So I guess yours is just another variation without the u. Have you tried the “press the B button for five seconds so the word Casio will be displayed“? It’s not always 100% accurate indicator, but still it indicates that the watch might we’ll be original.
