@leonbut I think the auto light is a setting , when you tilt your arm at a certain angle the watch lights up.

for the stop watch 1 hold the adjust button (top lefy), and a 5 second count down timer will appear in the upper part of the display... this will give a 5 second delay after pressing the start button on the ST

which version is this ? I saw this video and wanted it so just gone out and bought this watch but in dark green and black inners colour. Product number - G-9000-3VER. And it doesnt illumiate anywhere near as bright as yours ??? is yours a special model or is mine broken ??? mine sais dual illumiator but outer area doeant get anywhere near as bright. I bought from a repitable high street shop argos so defo real. Any feedback much apreciated ? cheers

This is an awesome g-shock, I work at a woodshop and I ride mountain bike with it, and I have put it to the test on mud ,dirt and dust the watch holds up like nothing happened .

No - only on the Dual Illuminator models. I think that any Mudman which has Tough Solar does not have Dual Illumination.

@panosab I heard that both V and VDR say that a particular model is for export. J or JF-indicated watches, on the other hand, are for Japanese market. So I guess V or VDR makes no difference

Nice review, got the red one for an Xmas present! Well happy with it! Got my eye on the latest edition now! I'm in need of a positive display G-Shock, so it will be either the 9300 or the Riseman! Both look awesome. Seen the new 9300 Mudman in the flesh and worn it and it has been put on steroids compared to this older version. Bottom line, if you get good good prices then you can't go wrong with either Mudman if your after a rugged outdoors watch, but I find these G9000's to be more stylish.
