Casio G-Shock update woes 11 attempts later...

Yes, yes, and yes. I did a complete reset of that precise Casio G-Shock, not once, but twice. I restarted my phone, re-installed the app, and my Casio has only been paired with the Android OnePlus 12 running Android OS 14 for about one or two weeks. Many months ago Casio pushed another software/firmware update for this model and it took many attempts before the upgrade was able to take. It appears my watch is having Bluetooth connectivity issues and keeps disconnected during the upgrade process even through it is within two inches at ALL times. I will contact Casio Support over the next 88 hours and ask them. Luckily, yes, my watch is still under the original 12-month warranty.

@@FiremanFrach Got the e-mail from CASIO with an address of their East Coast repair shop. Mailing this blue G-SHOCK off today. And yes, I was able to finally get it to update and I'm not seeing huge changes in regards to heart-rate accuracy.

Yeah, there are smart-watch features, but Casio dropped the ball with their latest update. Yes, I was able to get the watch to update.

Yes, I received an email from CASIO just yesterday or Sunday with the address to ship the watch to an East Coast repair shop. And yes, they are asking me to pay for the shipping costs. I was able to get the update to finally go through, that video segment will be coming out later this week.

Hello, I have the same problem with my DW-H5600. The only solution was to update the watch using my brother's I-phone. For some reason they work without any problems. Apparently Android is the problem.

Interesting... I got an email from CASIO yesterday and I am sending the DW-H5600-2 over to an East Coast repair shop. When it returns I will pair with an iPhone, thank you for the comment.

@@TheManWithTwoWatches After about 12 tried I read to unpair and then pair. Also to turn off the wi-fi while it updates and it eventually worked. It's not really good enough though Casio!!

Today i bought the same casio and had the same problem on oneplus 12. I have solve it. I remove back cover. After it AC contact close crossing frame. Watches reboot. After it i just contact watches to oneplus 7 and got update. IDK what helped me but it works for me
