Great review! Bought it yesterday in an actual brick and mortar shop, after trying it on my 6.75 inch wrist. It looks great. It will actually make small wrists look better. Nobody will look at your wrist while holding against it a square G-Shock for reference. I bought it precisely because of its size. It is an ideal watch for sport, as it is small and light, so you will not even feel it. Wearing a big watch just doesn't make sense, even more so during sports activity. And the bonus is the quality of the buttons -- yea, certainly better than today's cheaply built G-Shocks.

What is his life span? Is it stong material ? Can we use outside for mountaineering and daily bases?

@@suryapratap9861 It is built like Casio's cheep square G-Shocks, with the same materials, with the main difference that the G-Shock's crystal is sunken for protection, while this watch's crystal isn't. I believe it is very sturdy and good for the activities you mention, but the unprotected crystal will be prone to scratches. The crystal is acrylic, not mineral glass like the G-Shocks, so it will scratch but not shutter.

Idk it's pretty important and a big reason why I watch these reviews. Lots of exercise watches go super enormous and goofy sized and it can be hard to tell that from product photos

Size and legibility looks perfect. I like my beaters to be small because they don't get on the way of anything i'm doing. I personally don't care if it's theoretically "for ladies" - if the design is masculine enough, i'm in.

On Casio's website it is modeled by women, the colors include a light pink and I think the "L" in the name is always for "Ladies." Nice watch though.

just bought this watch. i love it's size and the step tracking feature, i know it's intended for women, but aside from the pink lettering (which i actually like) i don't see why it would be only for women.

I bought this watch out of curiosity because everyone said it’s small, and yes it’s actually small, but there’s a way to turn it into a cool looking watch just get a 16 to 22 millimeters adapter and put a zulu strap on it. It really turned this girly small watch into an interesting looking tactical looking watch quickly, and now it’s comfortable too. Wider strap made it look a bit bigger and more unique. It kinda looks like that new smaller casioak they released with nato strap and wide adapter. Check it out you may like it as well.

Thank You. Glad you pointed out the size and crystal. Any acrylic crystal above the watch body is not going to look good for long. Also, who needs the year in the date display - perhaps somebody with dementia. Love the step counter.

I was planning to replace my smart watch with a "real" watch, and since I loved step tracking feature (the only feature I actually use on a smartwatch), I initially considered this one. But after finding out it's rather small, I chose WS 1600H instead, and ordered it today.

@@bioinfo3 It doesn't. Otherwise, it's a great watch. I'd suggest you to go to a shop and try LWS 2200H first. I couldn't find one in my town. The only option was online. That's why I went with the 1600h

Absolutely great! Finally small casio watch again. I love my modified h 800h which beats gshocks all day long. Big watches everything over 40 mm is simply yokel's taste and looks stupidly bad unless you'd have a really huge wrist size or using it as a tool watch only then is absolutely understandable and still up to 43mm Otherwise yokel. Sorry boys 😬😂😂😂. Apart from that great video many thanks. Thumb up 👍

The thing you dislike about this watch is precisely what I like the most, because I find the tendency of big watches awful and completely inelegant. I think a bit of the bracelet is supposed to be visible on the wrist, not just the case of the watch, as i believe would happen with the one you showed at 2:40 on your 16.5cm wrist. I think the lws2200 is precisely the size it should be for you, and the photos show it. It looks so cool on you that I'll probably buy one for me, since I have similar wrists. Thanks for the review

Wow. What a great review. This watch has some amazing features. The deal breaker is the plastic lens being set above the case. How are we supposed to protect the plastic lens?

Fun shenanigans with the green screen! Personally, a bit too much going on in the watch for me. Have you ever considered rating the W219H btw? It's got the same module as the 218/217 but in a case resembling the DW6900 G Shock. From pictures, the dial looks recessed. If it is, would be a really solid daily beater, instant "keepers" territory.

I know that indeed this is a small watch, but considering that I find my wrist very slender, it becomes perfect for my use. I've always wanted to wear a more robust watch like the G-Shock, but they are a bit large on my wrist, and this one would certainly solve that problem. In theory, watches from the Baby-G line would also solve it, but I simply don't like that the name is exposed on the watch face.

Great, clean but interesting looking digital watch IMO. Not too small for you and doesn't look like a kid's watch, again my opinion. (I think it might be that your wife is used to seeing larger watches on your wrist.)I also think it can fill a void for smaller wristed folk........BUT...Yes, there's always a but😂... I wish the strap was longer. And for this reason I think it qualifies as a "ladies'" watch, seeing that many of them have slightly smaller wrists than guys.

I like swatch watches and their crazy designs in general. Used they cost next to nothing. I especially like those acrylic crystals on them, they are easy to polish and have very good clarity.

Btw: two years aga i buyed a titanium G-Shock (dont know the modelnumber) for over 1,5k €, last year i selled it for 1,8k. i just had it 10 minutes on my wrist, was too bad expensive to me to wear and just used my 91-W or my 5600 ;D If i find a Rolex and no one serch this by lost and found i will sell it and get some Casio´s who like ;)

Thanks but no thanks. Casio's tendency to overcomplicate the most basic things is annoying to say the least. For a simple, straight foward sportswatch NOTHING beats a Timex - superior UI, superior backlight, superior date/day format. Most people think the Ironman is a good model (it is) but even better is a Timex Expedition with the T-90941 being my favorite. And for a truly advanced sportswatch, I always will wear a Garmin Instinct which is - despite it's complexity and endless features - surprisingly easy to handle, compared to that Casio.

@@IvanTutto Listen dude, if you are a Casio fan boy, I'm fine with it because once I was too (and sometimes I still am). With over 60 digital watches in my collection I have a pretty good overview in this watch branch and when I write something, I always 100% mean it that way. Casio makes good, rugged watches no arguing about that. But they tend to get even the most basic stuff overly complicated, for instance try to set the countdown timer on a GBD-200 (without phone connection) for one hour, two minutes, three seconds (1:08:03) and you'll be ready to throw that darn thing out of the window (although since it's a G it wouldn't do any harm, lol) on a Timex I need exactly 5-10 seconds max to put that value into the timer. Bottom line, Casio is good for long battery life and overall more ruggedness, Timex for functionality and simple use. And fyi: Timex never paid me anything, wish they did though, I probably could make a fortune, because even if they are superior to Casio, there is still plenty of room left for improvements.

@@LV-42617 The first, I don't listen anything because this is writed, second, I am not a casio fan, i am just impartial and see everything without feelings and taste, Timex is an excellent brand as Casio, timex digital watches don't have the best design, are very rare, the designs are so bad but yes of course they have a little things like light system or illumination system better than casio but this is not the only important, for example Q&Q is not a luxury brand but for less money you have a digital watch with better light than a Casio or with mineral glass, but this doesn't mean that are better than a Casio. So please think before move your fingers to write. Pretending to be an expert behind a screen is easy.

@@IvanTutto Alright then, read it if that makes you happy. I pretend nothing, I just write facts, because I have the knowledge. Q&Q is a sub brand of Citizen, I have one but never wear it because the backlight is too dim, the alarms are not loud enough for my hearing and the contrast of the display is rather sub optimal either, so I wouldn't buy another. But I can tell the same about some Armitron watches, some Skmei watches and even about some Timex digitals I'm rather disappointed with. Again to me certain Timex Expedition models remain the very best EDC digitals for small money and great functionality. Some Casio's come close (W-736H for instance) but when it comes to backlight and making use of the watch in darkness, a Timex can't be beaten.
