Just got my PX-S3000 and I’m watching these livecast videos on a big screen in my living room. They are such a valuable introduction before diving into the manual. So many practical real-world examples shown, and this kind of presentation has really long legs. You’re a great team and I really appreciate the time and planning you put into this, regardless of having missed it live.

2 things would make this amazing Update chordana app so all dsp and dsp parameters are editable and amp cabinets Display the dsp parameters you are actually controlling when knob control is selected to edit dsp parameters. Currently it only displays dsp parameter 1 and dsp parameter 2
@justinlalugski20834 жыл бұрын
And add ability to rename registrations also the ability to assign knobs to any parameter would be sick..like if you can even set one knob to cabinet type and the other to delay time or dry/wet settings ect. then you can easily scroll through the different cabinets and find one that sounds best

@@vm5304 That's hard to say for sure. I do prefer the feel and sound on this keyboard over many upright pianos, espescially old uprights. Obviously, you're never going to get the exact piano sound from a real acustic piano on a digital piano in this price range, but it still sounds absolutely great. The pxs-3000 also has a built-in aucustic simulator which simulates string resonance, hammer sounds of the hammer action hitting the piano strings when you press a key, and the sound of the pedal dampers through the speakers.

Can u please help out with the DSP settings for the best piano on the Casio MZ-X500 which is similar to privia.
@skipeb33 жыл бұрын
Kind of a drag that you can't name registrations. On a gig that would be way more useful than having so many DSP & editing capabilities, IMHO. Especially if you need to run thru a number of registrations in the course of the gig... Another question... Will a Yamaha FC7 pedal work on the 3000? Thanks in advance...

Mike AND Rich in the same video??? Damn! It's like the "Cream" (trio super group) of keyboard gear demonstrators minus a body! Casio went all out with both you guys AND the 80s style programming on this keyboard (I'm only being sarcastic about the programming interface, as both you guys have done some great demos). This keyboard seems nice and all that, but my only question is why the heck did Casio not run a little further with the XW-P1 concept? Every time CASIO has a decent professional synth idea (CZ, VZ, XW-P1) they let it die on the vine.

I suggest Casio to make a 73 key version of this keyboard. The 3k is light weight, but long for gigging.

YES, YES and YES ! ! ! The full feature is useless for gigging, not mentioning it really takes the space in the car. 61 keys version would be marvellous ! ! !

The PX-S1000 has been faulted for the black keys having a lighter feel (weight) than the white keys. Is that same issue a problem with the PX-S3000?
@Daniel145D3 жыл бұрын
Doctor, I was afraid of that too because of the videos online. However, multiple pianists I know and trust said it’s not an issue for them, so I went ahead and ordered the px-s3000 anyway. The black keys are a bit lighter, but I don’t think to most players it will be the issue it’s been made out to be online. It feels very natural to play and after only a few hours of playing I felt more at home on the px-s3000 than I do on my Yamaha p-125 or Mx88. Everyone is different. But everyone I know personally that owns an x3000 is very happy with it. Pianoforever on KZbin took strong issue with the black keys, and now thousands of people are opposed to the 3000, without ever actually touching one. Casio’s response to him was horrid as well.. but I only care about the piano. And for me, it plays beautifully

Unbelievable there is no software for this instrument. It's the major killing point for taking it seriously. Come on on Casio, put out some software so we don't have to program everything on the board interface which is a decades-old concept. The defense of the worthless Chordana app at 31:30 should be deleted out of embarrassment.
