You can record the midi information onto the daw, but if you wish to record the audio from the piano you have to buy an audio interface.

@@WDanniel no problem, I recommend the scarlet 2i2 for stereo recording. Make sure you buy balanced aux cables to prevent any background frequencies from entering the recording

@@ish9506 an audio interface records the sound of an instrument, you won’t be putting a usb midi into it. You would be using a usb midi to connect to the computer so you can receive the audio information
