Casio VZ-1(tabla ensemble)

Don't be fooled thinking they are real Indian tablas. All are not real, but I believe this is the world's first electronically made artificial tablas only to be played in the Casio VZ synths and absolutely no dependent on samples whatsoever! Inside the Casio VZ-1 synthesizer, they were all mathematically created out of basic waveforms, phase distorted, modulated and crafted by me. Think of the Casio VZ-1 as an FM synthesizer but rather it's an Interactive Phase Distortion synthesizer. Indian flutes and sitars were included but they are all not real, all synthetic in the same manner also. Everything you hear is all synthetic since I am oppose to using samples. This is my first time in quite a long time using the Multi Channel mode on my Casio VZ synthesizer! Enjoy.

Fantastic, the VZ-1 is quite capable of producing interesting and unique sounds, everyone should have one. Envy for the rack version because the keyboard is built like a tank/heavy. Any luck with pc editors?

Thank you so much for the kind words. This is an incredible instrument and the makers of the VZ synths were way ahead of their times. Such a great synthesizer people don't realize capabilities it has and what this thing can offer. Well anyway I haven't used any PC editors, maybe not that I know of to create unique patches. All done on the synth editor itself since i'm accustomed to just to create from the synth itself. To me that's basically where all the fun is at.
