This watch is outstanding if you're preparing for exams that have timed sections. I would do my prep with the timer set to 8:30 on repeat for each question.The ready-set-go feature before the timer begins was great for shifting my focus to the next question. Great watch, that has nice features my G-shock doesn't even have.

Thanks, man. I've had this watch for over 2 years and I love it. It's simple and does the job, and I think it looks great (esp. on a Nato strap). I do prefer the way the numbers light up and I don't think many Casio watches do that, so this is really my preferred watch. I'll admit I didn't even know it had some of the features you showed like the auto-repeating timer so thanks for enlightening me! I have a whole new appreciation for it now.

Thanks for the video. I'm a nerd and just purchased one off Amazon. I owned two of these watches back in the late 90s when I was just a pup. I loved the auto illuminate feature. This really brought me back and I can't wait to receive mine in the mail.

Great informative video. I really think that the 3242 module is the easiest and most intuitive in the Casio product line. I don't use all the features but glad they are available. Got mine from the Zon for $12.07. Great value.

I just got one - here in 2023, and the year was set to 2010 :D I hope the battery isn't about to die from being over 10 years old! :D The only thing I don't like about it so far, is that it'd be awesome if the dual time - had its own setting for 24h, and maybe date. Midnight strikes at UTC before me, so the date will be different. Not seeing a date on dual time ... is sort of a PITA, and so is converting to 24h. I use 12h for "normal use" and UTC 24h for ham radio logging. It's HARD to find a watch that does what I want! I was looking at world clocks, but my state is going to "always DST" and I don't want a watch that uses "eastern time" and may or may not get the DST part right. I also don't need all the zones, just UTC and local.

DT on the W93 does have its own independent 12-24 time setting. When on the DT screen, press the SPLIT button (top right).

@@notsure7874 The W93H has dual time but not dual calendar, so no. For the functionality you are looking for, you need to do what some military people do and wear two watches (one on each wrist) so you can precisely set the independent times/dates you want to track.

@@rmenga I'm just going to keep in mind that if my local time is "earlier" than UTC, then UTC's date is "tomorrow". Just being able to set it to 24 hr is awesome! Thank you!

Does the watch have a daylight saving time on/off mode. Mine does not change when the daylight saving time changes. I have to reset the time manually.

Hi thanks for another great review I have just purchased this watch but mine has the 1949 module in it from what I can tell the only difference is there is no year setting so you have to also enter day of week when setting time. Seems like this may be an older module but is a brand new watch ? Thanks again.

Older module but works the same. Without the auto calendar year setting the watch does not recognize leap years, meaning it will not display Feb 29 when that happens once every 4 years. This year 2020 happens to be a leap year with a Feb 29, so when that day rolls around, your watch will incorrectly show the date as March 1. Not a big deal because all you have to do is wait a day and then set the correct date, and it only happens once every 4 years.
