This song completely messed me up listening to it after losing my Mum to cancer. All the references to oramorph, becoming thin etc. take me back to a very dark place. “But with the odds against me once again, can only hope that this note reaches them”. Sounds like CAS’s cancer is back 😓. You are by far my favourite artist in the U.K. CAS and we have been blessed with this album, it is a work of art. Big love ❤

Don’t think you can overstate how deep this track hits. The production is solemn but beautifully melodic. The bars punch me in the gut in the second verse, reminded me of my boys funeral and I lost it, how’s that for serendipity.
