And if he had gone to prison, the moment he got out he'd be able to manipulate his daughter into doing it again because even ten years dead, she still defends him. I get where the daughter is coming from, she didn’t know what was going on and she never realized the monster he truly was, she saw her dad as a hero and when he died she had to endure all the pain but what the mother did was truly heroic, she was willing to spend 15 years in prison for her daughter, everyone is a victim in this situation and my heart really goes out to all of tjem

This might sound offensive. The stepdaughter might have thought of the things that her Dad made her do to the 8 year old as apart of sex ed.... She didn't seem to regret what she did to the little girl as something cruel.
