For those of you wondering, the mom was acting all fishy because on the daughter's phone,there was a video of the daughter saying that she was raped multiple times by her step dad and the mom knew about it but didn't do anything. The daughter killed herself and the husband because she couldn't stand anymore. The dad didn't get the phone in the end because it was going to be used as evidence.
