Your first mistake there was stopping being young. Also, I'm sorry to hear about the having kids thing. I can't imagine how depressing that must be (said the 30 year old sitting alone at new year....sitting alone, no kids, no worries, drunk at 2pm.....you know i do sometimes sit and think...'damn...im here, with nobody bothering me to call or anything, smoking, drinking, listening to whatever i like with nobody around as i fill my body with poison and i think.....damn this is heaven....perfection.' Good on you though my friend, in all seriousness.

same, but with rap and r&b. all my life i only knew american music until one day i heard this crazy track by 'some guy named rusko' and i just remember that electricity hitting my brainstems.. rusko, coki, caspa, cookie monsta, and emalkay are my starting 5. music has just never really "hit" me since, unless its that 2006 ~ 2014ish UK sound 🤗

lol this mix *deserves* it's own youtube channel. this was the catalyst that pushed me into the dubstep era and scene circa 2008-2013. going to clubs and raves was so much fun during this time!! such a positive, inclusive and energetic vibe in the early dubstep scene. i feel so lucky to have been there to be a part of it. this mix was a lifechanger for me, literally, and still sounds just as good in 2022! not a scuffed track in here, but personal favorite cuts are: L-Wiz - Girl from Codeine City Uncle Sam - Round the way Girls (Tes La Rok RMX) Cotti & ClueKid - The Legacy Caspa & The Others - Well 'Ard Rusko - Mr Chips cheers from SF CA in the deuce-zed-dub-deuce

I love how imperfect this is, from what i remember, they had no time to prepare for this recording, they literally jumped into the studio, and first take was what they went with, its not Perfect, but at the time Dubstep was still on the rise, a bit unknown, still rough, the fact they threw this together on a limb, i think, makes it even better. i used to always have this cranked in my car, ive been a drum and bass fan for 16+ years, but this style of dubstep always has a place in my life, can always listen back, and it takes you back to when you first heard it, on massive systems, in dingy small dark clubs, with all the other dubstep heads absolutly going mental, love it

Damn, I was trying to find this video for ages. I listened to it a tonne back in early or mid 2021 I think, but then I moved on to other things and only recently got a hankering to listen to it again. But I couldn't remember for the life of me what it was called. I thought it was a mix done by Mary Anne Hobbs, but Warrior Dubz didn't sound familiar at all. I was going crazy. Turns out I bookmarked this in Google Chrome...I just had to find it burrowed within the crap-tonne of other webpages I've bookmarked. I'm so glad because this sounds so sick and already kinda nostalgic. A lot has happened to me between now (late 2022) and early 2021.
