I’m pretty sure if it was before or after Halloween shaggy and Scooby would already knew about Casper or this is the first timing. Casper: I wonder what new goodhearted friends I might find in Koolsville, especially I might bump into mystery Inc eventually. Scooby: oh boy, I got the pizzas. Casper : why it’s Scooby Doo. Hello Scooby! Scooby: rello. (Scooby sees only his ghost form.) rikes a Groast! Raggy I saw groast! Shaggy: what do you mean Scooby you actually saw a… Casper: hello shaggy. Shaggy: zoinks! (he and Scooby are hanging on the light pole until shaggy recognizes Casper) hold up Scooby. That’s no ghost at least not just any ghost that we keep anticipating. It’s only Casper. Scooby: rasper the friendly groast . Casper: it’s pronounced ghost without the R . but I’m sorry I startled you that way. Shaggy: it’s OK. Casper. It happens all the time whenever we go on scary mysteries. Casper: but still shaggy unlike most monsters, aren’t you scared of me? Shaggy: well not any more Casper you’re one spook we can get used to only because you’re too cute for me to scared you’re like a little boy dressed up for Halloween like we always do. Scooby: yeah we love Halloween. It’s our favorite holiday. Casper: me too, and I’m glad I’m not the only misfit around. It’s the one time the year where I get to fit in that way nobody is scared of me. Shaggy: and at least for us, there are good hard people who dress up like fake monsters that we get used to and we always get all you can eat candy from every house to house. Say Casper you like to go trick-or-treating with us. Casper: sure anything with my favorite fans. Scooby: you bet (Scooby licking Casper) Casper:(giggling)

I just had some ideas on some who and what sees Casper and gets scared. Say like an alligator sees Casper and it roars in fright. The alligator turns into a suitcase and bounces away. A shark sees Casper and swims away, leaving behind its teeth. The teeth then follows it. An armadillo sees Casper and then curls up into a ball and bounces like a basketball. A pair of criminals kidnapping Casper by mistake, thinking it was their intended target. They see that it's Casper and they yell "A G-G-G-GHOST!" and run off into a police car just driving by.

I feel so bad for Casper, all he wants to do is have friends but people are scared of him! I'm glad he has Wendy and Richie Rich as friends. Side note, I don't believe the whole "Casper is Richie Rich" theory for a multitude of reasons. For one, we've seen them side by side before, second, Richie's parents are very protective and can afford a ton of healthcare so I don't think anything would happen to Richie on their watch, third, Casper came first, fourth, if Casper WAS Richie, wouldn't he have at least SOME memories of his past life? Maybe Casper was a older brother of Richie who passed away before Richie was born, but that still doesn't make sense as we see members of Casper's family as ghosts. Though I should note Richie's parents look rather old to be parents. I've seen people theorize Bluey is a rainbow baby [which is actually canon], but perhaps Richie could be one too? That would make a lot more sense than the "Casper is Richie" theory.
