Casper The White Lion of Satara 3 recent sighings in Sept and Oct 2024 Kruger National Park

Recentley with two trips to Satara we where very privileadge to see the wild white lion nicknamed "Casper"as many guests come and search for him and do not see him so we where lucky that he was around on our last photo safari tours.
Only a hand full white lions exist in the wild. The leucistic trait is due to a recessive mutation in the gene for Tyrosinase (TYR), an enzyme responsible for the production of melanins.
Nice to see him again alive and doing ok with his brothers help.

Always great to see Casper and its brothers ❤ ! Unfortunately Casper looks in poor condition and tired, its brother seems better. Apparently Casper has not the bovine tb according to a recent video I watched last week and one of its brother as well, the bad news is that the other two brothers are infected...😢 We must prepare ourselves to the worst, I mean two are condamned, Casper in its last straight line, ... sounds really bad. I just wonder why not having the bovine tb Casper is so bad.... 🤔 Is it regarding its age ? If anyone who knows rather well these cats has details on each of them and can explain what they have, I would appreciate so much. Keep going Casper and brothers, many of us still want you in our living world ! ❤ 🙏
