10 freaking years ago... Something just uplifted and moved my soul. No church I have ever attended has been able to do this, EVER!

This song sounds like the music my heart pumps through my body at those moments in my life that are incalculable...

This track was a catalyst for a mental breakdown I had when I was like 17-18. Going through norco withdrawals for the first time. Was listening to this in the bathroom at my moms house and just lost it lol. Realized that I am going to die someday and everything is just kind of pointless, existence and all. At least that’s how it felt in the moment. 11 or so years later and here I am listening to this, drunk, in the same exact bathroom. Visiting my parents. Many more trials and tribulations under my belt. It’s strange returning to the house you grew up in. Breaking down for a different reason now. Miss you big brother

When this came across my Pandora, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.

What type music is the vocal melody influenced by here? I know the song is post rock/electronic, but the vocal is almost like...mountain music or some kind of wilderness music, i'd love to find more like it.

Listen to Sigur Rós. They use such vocals a lot.

But with a more clear / present melody: you don't have to listen intently for it.
