These guys are absolutely incredible. I just heard them for the first time a few weeks ago when they opened on the Underoath tour, and wow. Just wow. Not only are they all insanely talented musicians, but after talking with them for a little bit, it was obvious that they are all very down-to-earth, genuine guys, who just love playing music. Amazing.

That's really disappointing, Caspian opening for underoath :(
@broodewd8 жыл бұрын
same, i caught the middle of their set because I didnt know who they were so i showed up late. wont happen again, they were awesome live
@Kozlen8 жыл бұрын
Why is that disappointing? Both amazing bands, and if it wasn't for the Underoath show - I would not have learned about Caspian. So many people walked away Caspian fans from that tour. It was Caspian's choice to open for Underoath, so not sure why that's disappointing.
@giovannislasagna8 жыл бұрын
Saw them open for Underoath too, here in Portland. Was kinda bored to be honest. Songs all sounded the same until I got home and listened to more of their music. Then, I realized they had potential

Def need to see them headline a show. Caught them on this recent headline tour of theirs and it changed my whole perspective of the band(and I already was super into them)

Not trying to sound rude but thats the point of music being played by a band, to improve and not stay stagnant. That is why I love this type of music! It is constantly evolving and changing for the better imho!! Seeing music that has so many different influences is so cool to me also!! Post Rock/Metal is best when it is a hybrid of musical influences. When music is played by musicians that feel but also love the music they play we reap the rewards!! Great set btw!! Love Audiotree
@Mr.Be936 жыл бұрын
It's not often you see a band evolve in the "right" direction...I fell in love with Hymn years ago as well as a few others and put Caspian on the shelf since...I've recently discovered them again because I recommended Hymn to a friend and together we listened to more songs...the live performances blow my mind...Sycamore...and Arcs of Command...absolutely destroy me...I can't even describe the feeling to be honest...I have yet to see them live and I hope I can at some point in the not too distant future.

Echo and Abyss ... one of the best songs I have ever heard....

Same dude. That song is absolutely hypnotizing. It came up on some shoegaze playlist I was listening to and it just stuck out. It’s the song that got me into this band.

I see these guys every time they come to Phoenix. Been to the last three, and I will continue to do so. Their albums are great, but it's nothing compared to their live performances. I went to their show a week ago when they opened for Underoath and left after Caspian. I paid $35 for a 50 minute performance. They are that good.
@uoCloud128 жыл бұрын
you my friend must be insane. these guys are ok compared to Underoath!
@scenepointjudge8 жыл бұрын
+Alex Dezember I about did the same thing, but I paid around 100 bucks for my ticket so I stuck around for Underoath. I was there for Caspian - through and through, and seeing them perform live changed my life.

+EnigmaDeplete I have to disagree. Underoath just isn't my style, man.

+Kevin Carrera If I was in your shoes, and paid $100, I would probably stay for Underoath too. And yeah man, seeing them live is just so incredible.
@uoCloud128 жыл бұрын
+Alex Dezember I guess it all comes down to preference. I saw Caspian live with Underoath too but I just feel like there are other bands that do what Caspian does but better. No offense to these guys cuz I'm sure they work really hard but I guess to each their own.

I wonder if a Post-Rock Band like Caspian can live with the profit their music makes. Awesome performance
@Tsudkyk7 жыл бұрын
It seems like the more creative and talented the band (in most cases) the less financially stable the band is. That is a big reason I purchase albums instead of downloading them. They create music I love so I support them in continuing to do the thing they are passionate about. In reality we have a symbiotic relationship with these bands.
@darkwoodsdf6 жыл бұрын
No indie label band can live solely on the profit of their music. I know plenty of bands much more successful than Caspian who still have to work as bartenders and sound engineers at venues to scrape by.
@YeahImAnthony6 жыл бұрын
They remind me of a studio guitarist named cloud kicker. You guys heard of him? For some reason the first song reminds me of him so much. I think the album is " the discovery "
