The problem with the Kardashians is that they’ll never tell us the truth. They’ll never tell us what products they really use. They’ll always push their products, so you’re wasting your time watching their GRWMs and skincare routines. Too bad Vogue is giving them a platform and validating this behavior!

Right? She looks like a different person now and it's not because she's older. Ditto for all her sisters. Kylie and Khloe became Kim clones. Funny because Kim had lots of under the knife to become Kim. Kendall has had a ton of surgeries too. Courtney is probably the one with the least, but that's still a shit ton in that family. My vibe from Kylie (and the Kardashians generally lately) is they just go with the trends. It used to be more trendy to be fully glammed up, to have bigger lips and bigger curves (appropriating Black bodies and Black features) - and now the more “natural glow,” return to smaller bodies with fewer curves. It all rings fake because they don’t have an identity as a family outside stealing from other cultures and stealing from other brands/trendsetters.

Can we stop saying they’re appropriating black bodies and features? Are we forgetting they THEY ARE ARMENIAN. Not everything is “black” and “white.” Middle eastern people exist and they have these features. At least Kim and Kourtney are 100% Armenian (Khloe is questionable if you’ve ever heard the rumors about her father being OJ, but even then she would be half black). Can we stop erasing Armenian culture? Kylie and Kendall are white, however they have been heavily engrained in Armenian culture thanks to their sisters. There are SO many things to criticize the Kardashian’s on, however this is just purely racist against Armenian people are contributes to the erasure of their culture, something that has already been an issue for decades with examples being the lack of recognition of the Armenian genocide.

@DinkyInky2
@DinkyInky2 Жыл бұрын
Mixing liquid foundation with my moisturiser broke down every single liquid foundation I've tried within a couple hours, because it's not designed to be stable with moisturisers. Using a tinted moisturiser with a tinted sunscreen, however, gives a glassy dewy finish AND lasts ages because it's designed to be stable. If you're going for a short duration photo session, I suppose, but it's got no longevity.
@acwesty
@acwesty Жыл бұрын
@@DinkyInky2 I’ve never had that experience nor have I heard of my friends having that issue either. It’s likely the moisturizer you are using. Foundation is “designed to be stable” with most things and products, unless the foundation somehow designed to be proprietary to that other brands products. It’s supposed to work with primer, eyeshadow, blush, any potential product and combination in the book. It’s not designed to be “stable” with one thing only and not with another. It just doesn’t work that way. If it did, everything you put on your skin alongside and before foundation would make it break up. MUA’s like James Charles, Mario Dedivanovic (most notably does the Kardashian’s makeup), Huda Kattan, have all spoken about using moisturizer with their makeup. The whole “stability” thing is really just not true. The problem here is likely *your* moisturizer or foundation.

Really interesting that you mentioned her loving her foundation, yet mixing it and basically changing the formula. I notice that when Kylie uses her own products, she ALWAYS mixes, and I think it's a ploy for her fans who want to get her EXACT look to buy more products. Like she MADE the brand, why does she still need to mix two blushers to get the perfect shade? Or mix her foundation with her moisturiser to get the perfect texture? Factor in the clearly filtered videos and you see what I'm getting at?

Oh my goodness, the eyebrow thing. An abridged version: It all has to do with the (perceived) feud between Hailey Bieber, who's close friends with Kylie, and Selena Gomez. The public has been speculating about it for years, but the eyebrow incident reignited rumors recently. Basically, Selena posted a silly photo where she had accidently over-laminated her brows, joking about it. Then Kylie posted (and deleted) a photo where she was focusing on her eyebrows, with writing saying "this was an accident???," then a screenshot of a FaceTime call between her and Hailey where they were both zoomed in on their eyebrows. Kylie denied that it had anything to do with Selena, but it does kinda seem like they were making fun of her, and some have speculated that Kylie meant to post it to a private account but accidently posted it on her main one. Ever since, people have just been speculating like crazy about their "mean girl" behavior/drama behind the scenes.

5:01 maybe by burning your fingers you became digitally enlightened. Eh? Eh? Yeah, I'll see myself out. Ooh before I go! 1) To prevent rawness and microscratches or tears that can lead to infection, from over scrubbing, use a soft applicator, preferably silicon, to gently scrub lips. Bonus lips lipidity will loose less moisture this way. 2) Warming (pre oxidizing which shows truer color on skin) foundation trick: *On the back of your non dominant (clean) hand, place amount you use for face *Let warm up to allow for more fluid blending. *At this point apply normally with tool of choice (brush, sponge, blender, etc.). *Additionally you can lighten the color by adding moisture with a bit of moisturizer, serum, or oil (I like rosehip seed or jojoba, depending on needs) blended with a clean silicon wand applicator stick (got an 8 pack on Amazon, but you can get these from anywhere online) then apply as usual.

I had success with the Zitsticka sunscreen (Megashade), it’s very hydrating, but the shipping to Canada sucks. I now use Avène spf 50 for sensitive skin, which is also a chemical/physical blend and has a similar feel and effect to Zitsticka but slightly less hydrating. If I use a fully physical sunscreen like Australian Gold, I apply a moisturizing serum first so it won’t dry me out. Hope this helps! Sunscreens are so tricky and personal lol!

I juse an enzymescrub for my lips. The one thats looks like you scrub of dead skin but its the product. I dont juse it often because my lips got so much better. I think ones every 2 weeks. And at night i juse a lip mask or balm and always lock it in whit vaseline. I jused to have such bad dry lips that wore crackt and bleed a lot. Now i dont have that anymore sometimes a bit dry but not as it was. ❤

She feels way more natural… with her lip injections, Botox, fillers, fake tan, fake eyelashes, fake body, nose jobs, eyelift and whatever else she has done. Which I’m sure is a lot. Lmbo. 😂 so funny

Kylie/Vogue are likely using a suite of skin filters (digital) referred to as SkinFX. These aren't your everyday filters that we have available to us, these are high powered, and require much more computation.

The reason your fingers apply makeup so smooth is not only because of the warmth but because they don’t have pores! The palms of your hands, along with your fingertips and bottoms of your feet are the only parts of your skin that don’t have pores. That’s why it’s a great idea to apply foundation to the palm of your hand instead of the back when applying, because you get there most product since your hand won’t absorb the product. That’s the issue with beauty blenders, too; they’re porous and soak up all the product! 🥲

The thing that annoys me with those "home video" -esque videos from the Kardashian-Jenner family, is that it looks like it's filmed on a camera from like 2005... you can't even see their actual skin, so how are we supposed to believe that their products are any good if they're hiding any possible blemish they might have. And aside from that, they have access to the best facials & skin specialists so if they do in fact, have great skin, it's probably thanks to that.
