bro she legit has either Borderline Personality Disorder OR Bipolar Disorder. The show showed us how depressed she was (they themselves used that word) and her family also pointed out how "sensitive and emotional" she is. She even tried to self harm. All of these people were so concerned about Rue and forced her to rehab (and it's a good thing) but Cassie has been abandoned. It's a great thing that addiction is being di-stigmatized in media but on the other hand, people still demonize other forms of mental illnesses that aren't as visible. Cassie was never like this-this is the same girl who let Maddy stay at her home for months even though she herself was going through personal issues. She also helped Maddy through her breakup while she was having an abortion (which she didn't even completely want but had to do) and her "friends" didn't even care to find out why she's sad. She also never did anything to her sister that justifies putting the carnival scene in play. If memory serves me right, Cassie was always nice to her and Lexi even used to hang out with Cassie's friends. They were like normal sisters and now people are saying that they were never close? Wtf are they supposed to make out or something to show their closeness???? Sorry for the long rant lol, you're the first person I've seen who supports Cassie

​​@Ks-101Fuck you, honestly. Maddy should know first what a person her bff is, but instead she seems completely unaware. Why is only Cassie blamed when Nate is the puppeteer? He's the one who picked up a vulnerable girl, who is mentally unstable after an more or less forced abortion and also she is seen drinking, she's drunk or atleast tipsy. Nate picked her up to hook up with her, no doubt, why else should he mind her? Also Nate is aware of what a person she is, one that was used multiple times, a teen who had revenge porn spread around more than once, only being seen as a body to fuck. He calls her a whore in s1, so he doesn't value her one bit and also wants to betray Maddie, so he goes after her influential bff. Maddy doesn't care as much abt Cassie as people make out she does, if she did, she would knew something is way off. Also she only blamed Cassie while Nate is the one who choked her, threatened and abused her. Yet she attacks Cassie?! WHAT! So why does Cassie get so fixated on Nate? The fundamental reason is her broken image of love and the lack of her father. We can't say if her fixation is on character or not, as it's the first time she's so on edge. But I think that all the s1 events completely messed her up, the abortion was the final straw to her Downward Spiral. So again fuck you very much, for not getting her character one bit and how her tragedy makes her a figure built to fall. Abt how she's at fault. Tbh, a friend like Cassie wouldn't be bad, she's very sweet, she's troubled but she is someone who will love her friend very much. I would love to be friends with her.

It really doesn’t matter if everyone called her beautiful all her life because you have to feel beautiful to actually believe it and it’s so obvious Cassie didn’t feel pretty enough ever and she still stuck in her child hood where her father used her to get money or other things but never acted as a father to her, I understand her so much. I also understand why people hate her but I couldn’t ever hate her because I sympathise with her a lot. Sexually exploiting yourself to get male attention is something a lot of girls go through and it’s very sad too. I hate that lexi made a whole ass play to humiliate her sister, I could hate a person but I still wouldn’t do that to them.
