CAST IRON RIBEYE | ICECO CAR FRIDGE | COLEMAN STOVE COOKING
Sometimes we receive things from companies wanting us to review their products. I received this ICECO 12 volt car fridge/freezer after they saw me using a traditional cooler while car camping a couple months ago.
At first, I declined the offer because traditional ice chests have worked for me for the last 40 or 50 years, and I saw no reason to add more gear to my already filled up garage.
The ICECO representative understood and suggested I try their smaller unit. I sure am glad I accepted!
I really do like it. I use it everyday for something!
Today my son and I head to our local State Park and enjoy a 70 degree January day by the lake and test out the cooler, as well as my newest “Coleman Stove” and new propane set up for car camping and day trips.

Mower deck belts are great birthday presents! My wife has a knack for getting me birthday presents she likes. I have a deep cycle trolling motor battery for that fridge when the car isn’t running. Works great!

No chicken, no burgers, no steak. He likes hot dogs, bologna, ham,bacon and pepperoni. Just started baked potatoes. A lot of people on the Autism spectrum have very limited foods they’ll eat. Great to see Owen, it has been a while. That canopy is just the ticket out there on the asphalt. That little fridge is perfect for road trips. We have a Coleman that we’ve used for years. It’s nice not having to worry about getting ice. Thanks and have a great weekend

I have a Himalayan salt block that you cook on. Stick it on your grill and get it hot, then throw your steak or hamburger on it and let it cook. Really adds a unique flavor.

Holy crap man! That's a great Coleman stove setup. I didn't know you could run propane through those. I've got that same setup other than the side table and the propane adapter. I didn't know that stuff existed... Super cool!

@@hangswithraccoons - you can run your stove off those small green one pound tanks if you buy the propane adapter. It costs about $23 last time I checked. Today we’re using a 5 pound tank (miniature version of the typical 20 pound tank everyone uses) an adapter hose and the Coleman propane “distribution tree”. That allows me to hook up three propane devices all at the same time to my tank. I’m thinking a stove, a lantern and maybe a grill, or heater. Thanks for checking it out. I like your setup Chris , the ice co looks interesting. Probably would pay for it self in saving food . Usually if you don’t eat it on a camping trip it’s going to be thrown out when you get home . I like the propane conversion too , didn’t know they existed till I got one with my guide stove . You’re creating good memories there my friend .

Heck… I didn’t even think about the food savings… you’re right! I’ve thrown away food that I wasn’t sure stayed cold enough to eat, because my ice melted, and I’m definitely not spending $3.00 more for ice to keep a half pack of bologna and a couple of two day old thawed out sausage patties cold! 🤣😂🤣

@@FlintandSteelSurvival - Hey Flint… the fridge/freezer comes with 12v “lighter” plug, and a cord for regular ol’ plug in … I use an inverter in my car while the engine is on, then switch to a extra 12v trolling motor battery I have in the back floorboard.

@@thedriftingspore Thanks for watching Steve. Yes, I’m using a propane adapter. It’s meant to be used with the small green propane tanks (1 pound). I’m running it off of a 5 pound tank, and using some different hoses though. I didn’t want to talk about it too much in the video since it’s supposed to be primarily about the fridge (my obligation to ICECO). Next time I use it the propane stuff I’ll go into more detail about it. Appreciate ya’!!!👍🏻

$1.79 for a bag of salad?? Add two dollars to that if you want to live over here. When I take a long trip I will take two of those style fridges. One is strictly freezer and one is straight fridge. That way I can pick up my annual batch of brats from Wisconsin and they stay nice and frozen till I get back.
