Cast Members Hilariously Mess With Stormtroopers at Disneyland: How Did They React?!

Hi everyone! This video was taken at Disneyland in California in late December 2022. Here, I successfully use a Jedi Mind Trick on a stormtrooper, and he then goes up to a group of Cast Members working there who hilariously mess with him. It’s awesome! The stormtrooper also interrogates a guest that savagely insulted him.

The stormtroopers must be selecting from a set of pre-recorded audio clips, right? Because it almost seems like all of the things are saying are vaguely related, but not what someone would actually say and they wouldn't all be done so cleanly. Is it like there's someone watching and selecting dialogue with a soundboard by remote control and a video feed kind of thing? Like at 2:12, it seems like the actor obviously wants to say something, but there's a long delay before something somewhat related is said. EDIT: Actually, apparently the stormtroopers control their voice via hand gestures? Look it up, pretty interesting.

When the Stormtroopers talk...is it the 'friend' of the Storm Trooper talking? Is there some mic that makes them sound like that? When my friend and I did the College Program we tried to figure it out during Star Wars Weekend...but couldn't. We just decided that they were the real deal...from a Galaxy Far, Far, Away....

Hello! All the stormtroopers have a prerecorded voice that it is activated by making certain gestures with their hands and sometimes by pressing buttons within their gloves. The gesturing technique is done similarly for Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, and the Mandalorian as well. Certain gesture combinations create different responses, and some of these can be seen at 0:28, 0:48, 0:53, and 1:15 here. Hope that helps!

When a character has speaking parts, they need to NOT have select speech and can speak freely within character.
