I still don't understand why being confusing is such a big deal. That's a common thing of these types of dramas. Fantasy and scifi are supposed to introduce the audience to a strange and/or unexpected world and the audience discovers it through the main characters. The show even does a great job reminding the characters' names throughout the episodes. Not even Game of Thrones did that.

Honestly, this drama is unique and original. That's why I love this. This isn't your typical Korean drama, it's very different from the rest. No car accidents, no amnesia, no time travel and all that shit. I have grown up watching dramas, and I can say that this is the most unique one I've watched. Although sometimes I get frustrated because of the cruelty and the slow character development, I just can't stop loving this movie. I want a season 2, seriously. I can't watch any of the dramas right now, they are too cliché.

This cast of absolutely stunning actors and actresses brings to America a profound and beautiful fantasy with incredibly complicated roles that require flexibility and change. The story line is cleverly crafted to accentuate each of the dramatists assets. Tanya, as Tagon so aptly points out in the interview, must undergo extreme changes requiring sensitive adaptations. However Eunseom and Saya, played by the same incredible actor, must cloak his emotions as Saya and be the free spirited nature lover as Eun seom.The strength that is the Tae Alpha demonstrates appears to come from her very core of her soul and is brilliantly portrayed throughout each setting. She brought me to tears when she confronted her own wrong doing and aided her father to die rather than give the secret of the bronze away. True power is a dam full of water...able to spill in great destructions, or weep to bring healing to the land. Love this series. The actors are great, and there are a lot of similarities to modern day: Power hungry people; gentle people exploited by the greedy; intertribal fighting and many more example including prejudicial exclusion. The setting is different, but human foibles never change.

Excellent series. Kudos to actors, director, writers, makeup Artists, set and custume designers, the cinematographers, editors. The entire package is there. The clever writing brings up deep philosophical issues. The forbidden fruit/crop that threw man out of paradise was wheat. It was agriculture that brought about civilization and first cut off man from nature and that followed with war, slavery, and notion of property. This prehistoric series deals with such issues like none other.

Make Season 2! Can’t get over how the season 1 portrayed the depths, mind games, sword fights and POWER lust ! It’s definitely a MUST WATCH if you interested to know what the POWER of being human is. Love it!
