@@kanokpooh3681 Do Hwan is only 5 months older than Se Jong and I read an interview with Do Hwan from 2018 that he watched the drama Duel and said what a good actor Se Jong is and that he also read an interview of Se Jong and is impressed with the good mind he has. He also said that he had not yet met Se Jong and that he if he gets the chance in the future that he feels they would become friends. How cute is that! A year later they work together and I think it is clear that they have become friends. In BTW footage, Do Hwan is helping Se Jong to adjust his costume and later is fixing his man bun. They even hugged a lot. So Cute! In footage with the other actors they are both having a good time shooting and interacting with them when the camera was not rolling, but when these two were together they both had a whole other happiness on a different level. You can tell they clicked on a personal level and have become friends. They not only respect each other as professionals but genuinely like each other. I love these two and can not wait until they work together again.

Although I am a huge Se Jong fan and he is my favorite ever since I saw him in Duel which is amazing, I also really like Do Hwan and support both of them. Do Hwan's next drama is with Lee Min Ho and I really wish Do Hwan was lead because (no offense to LMH fans) but I think his acting is over rated, so I will watch for Do Hwan.

When Wo Do Hwan said they shot the only happy scene to be as happy as possible so the tragedy later hits hard, I felt that, because it really worked. During the scene where it refers back to the start of ep 1 i just thought 'how did this all come to be?' that happy scene was everything, but it made eveything 10x sadder than it would've been without it.

12:14 was my absolutely favorite scene of the show! (This and the scene where Seon-ho and Hwi died, there so much imagery. It's very unlikely that guys can grow hair that long within a relatively short period of time, let alone girls. I believe the bangs are real, though. They kept the front part of the actor's hair and put on a wig or extensions for the back.

This drama is not like any other historical drama I've watched before! The camera work, soundtracks, acting, etc. are brilliant and epic. The opening scene in the 1st episode gave me chills, and the one-take battle scene in ep 3 made me realized this was one of the most realistic fight scene ever. Kudos to the music in this drama too, I never skip the intro, and hunting for the OST after watching the first ep. It feels like watching a movies. Netflix, keep making drama like this!!!

I agree about the quality of this drama. The battle scene in episode 3 was absolutely amazing - one take, hand-held camera very visceral and real. Hollywood quality cinematically. I was very impressed!

Hands down this is the best historical drama I watched so far. I never found a plot so complex and emotionally developed. I was intrigued by their acting. The chemistry and realistic struggle of each character allows me sympathize and hate characters. I like how vilains have reasons to be villains and thus story probably has the least plot gaps I seen in Kdramas. I always feel like some historical drama would be too slow or rushed but this has a nice intensity and pacing that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I love how each character is so dynamic. Each one of them are growing personality and values which leads conflict. The conflict of the plot makes it hard for me to choose one side. It feels like a tug of war each time I see the two friends cross paths . The Material value and status vs friendship conflict that is driving the plot is refreshing to see, because most dramas focus on romance but I’m glad these directors and scriptwriter went to deeper and emotional level with friendship. Tbh friendship is such a treasured and valuable thing in life that people have so it’s very relatable and convincing to the audience. I hope this drama continues to do well!

i already watched it up to 7 ep. wow... i love this series, full of action and crying moments. i love the two lead man but i touched the act of hwi and his innocent face make me fall in love to him. i'm fan of Yang se-jong i really love all his drama series. it's half of all episode but i would congratulate all the cast and staff of my country drama. goodluck!
