Finally got around to doing what I would consider the bare minimum of the mobalytics guide, let me know if there is anything I need to add instantly. I updated the skill gems and skill tree based on feedback I got in the comments. I also added a Noncrit version which should be much easier for people to get into the build with and I cut down the skill trees to Level 90 which will hopefully help as well. Man, I gotta say you absolutely cooked on this one. I was playing your other build (the phase 1) right after you posted it. Then when you dropeed this build I was extremely poor, but I managed to get an amulet with crazy recoup and life regen for only 35ex, then I was slowly buying the jewels to get it rolling. I was going on and off the crit and non crit version, but I swapped to Crit and got the hang of it, I just killed Xesht on T4. It was an amazing feeling. I'm completely new to PoE and I would never imagine I would be able to do this kind of content, so thank you for putting your efforts to write and explain everything. As a husband and a dad I really don't have the time to cook some crazy builds, and after bricking my witch a couple times copying over youtube builds I found you, and it has been REALLY solid so far. 10/10 build. Wanted to make pyromantic pack work but didnt have the motivation to farm my idea out. You found a cheaper way and it works so so good. The only thing that looks wrong is swift affliction on hexblast is hurting your build. Its not increasing the damage of the ignite since ignite is an ailment but it is shortening its duration.

For those curious, I managed to make this build from scrap today with around 8-9d (probs cld of saved more but got p impatient at some points). Top tip: buy magic rarity jewels with max fire res and apply greater essence of bodies to try and roll life regen, much cheaper than just buying the gem, and even if you don’t roll the life regen % u can use chaos orbs to try and squeeze out more of a chance to get (acc saved me bricking 3 jewels). Have legitimately managed to match in every affix around v close if not higher in rolls, barring shit like the accuracy and cold dmg and armour. If you are willing to be a lot more lenient and mb don’t care as much about capping ur res u cld probs get this all around 4d

@ while I can’t confirm cos I haven’t done it myself, I imagine a greater essence of flames is what u need to use, but ig ignite related affixes and fire damage affixes will also be part of that loot pool so ur chance of rolling it may be lower is the only thing

I love it. such a smart build with recoup and flask on shield recharge. couple things Ive done to help is I put lightning warp skill bar with soul drain, soul thief and sock siphon, and I put energy barrier on an open skill socket so lightning warp is culling strike with a teleport that on cull it triggers hp, mana, energy shield regen. energy retention is while a skill is active, being stunned triggers es recharge. Obviously with this build using flame vs mana doesn't need soul thief but I just wanted to throw that out for anyone reading, so if you're getting beat up / dying, if you lightning warp a mob low hp like in breach you trigger regen, and also using anything like solar orb / ice orb / ball lightning, if you get stunned during it you recharge energy shield

There is a crit node top left next to the ES/Life Recoup/ES as stun threshold wheel which gives increased magnitude of damaging ailments on crit hits. This would increase ignites a bit for faster cast of ignites. Also your ES stun threshold node next to the curse area circle is inefficient. There is one by the top left ES and life recoup circle, and a 2 pointer in the centre of the es wheel middle left of the Witch tree (with the extra ES from Helmet node). Further I would swap the freeze threshold as ES nodes for the stun threshold ones, then use a freeze charm. There is also a +200 stun threshold strength support gem if needed. But congrats for cracking the code of playing Infernalist how she is supposed to be played. I did not realize that Rubies had + to max fire res!!!

Those ES Stun treshold nodes do a completely different thing, one in the build makes it so stuns are based on your ES instead of life - whereas others just give you % of your ES as stun treshold.

@@Senorpoontang In short: we don't know for sure yet. In POE2 it seems that harder hits ignite for more damage over time, so a crit would have a larger ignite, and then the magnitude scaled even more.

For those who are struggling with max fire res, you can go down on a passive tree to the strength area and pick up Prism Guard for +3 max fire res and Unnatural Resilience for +5. And you will also gain +2 to max lightning and cold res and 2 sockets for jewels. But it will cost you 17 skill points

Excellent build. I've been working on a similar build since day 1 and now I just hit a complication. I don't use Demon Form, instead, I'm using Grinning Immolation. The problem is I crit constantly when using Ball Lightning with Ice Wall, so I'm always on fire. To fix this, I used Chaos Inoculation to cancel out the ignite on self. Now the new problem is Energy Shield regen. So I started doing research and found your video to see if I can find something to solve that problem and saw @10:13 that dmg Recouped as life also counts as _"Regeneration?"_ I assumed Health Regeneration was a separate stat from Damage Recouped as life until I saw your "life Regeneration from other sources," stats. In PoE1, Zealot's Oath worked with Chaos Inoculation as long as you have health regen, and since I've always had Recoup to offset my fire dmg to self, all I have to get is Zealot's Oath? I currently don't have enough points to test it out, I need 9 more to get there. I was wondering if you or anyone could test that out to confirm if it's worth it? And thanks so much for the video, it definitely helped with saving time and expensive testing.

I've got 90% up and running, missing a few mods here and there and could juice the jewels up a lot more for longer sustain. but it's actually great. super fun, good amount of technical play. solid tankyness. my first map ran a juiced T16 and flew threw it like hot knife in butter. thank you very much, this build is super fun

@@KattKills Turns out it's not a 1 in 3 technically. There is 1 more extremely rare life mod (something like 5% of your mana costs turn into life costs). I got that once in around 50 jewels i did.

Fir Sekhamas Trial you can just go out of Demon Form and go in do the lever and after you get teleported back and dodged out you can go back Demon Form. Worked for me👊

Nice build - I am running flame blast solar orb, I get to about 200 stacks before popping out. I might try the pyromantic pack as well to see how it runs with crit as well. A game changer for me was getting ingenuity with one mings and one 50% qual breach ring. I got cast speed up to 37% on the breach ring then ingenuity takes it to 78% making the flame blast cast at ridiculous speeds. I also have most of the area of affect nodes to clear the screen with one cast. The added benefit of ingenuity is I am still basically running two mings. (breach ring with high res and cast speed resolves my resistance issues from losing belt as well.)

Have you though about dropping ghost for ashrend (immune to ignite) in hyper endgame? With a good ingenuity and the 10% reduced life on tree you can hit close 95% reduced life, if not 100% with a cracked one (besides being like 50-60ish% MORE DMG...). You can also roll 20% recoup on the corrupt for armors, so you could save like 9-12 nodes on the tree for either more jewels, crit or other shit.

👍👍nice video and brilliant idea. you solve my demon health regen problem. i only use 1 ming'heart ring, because i want to cover resistance. your video makes my 460 health demon, can stack up to 200, before this i only around 60-70 stack with only 4 ruby 13%regen mix with warrior uselss skill.now i change all ruby into recoupe life sapphire, 100% recoupe regen way better then life regen rate. hope to see more creative ideas build. before this video, i never seen people using pyromantic pact combine with demon form that well. keep up the good works, make infernalist great again!!!😂

the 3 main bugs i've learned: 1: demon form is that for the spirit reservation, demon form uses weapon set 2's aura and not the shapeshift ones. 2: demon form also doesn't work with the weapon set passives, regardless if you use the 'shapeshift' set passives. (atleast the increased es passives i was testing it with didn't work) 3: then the basic one where using the increased spirit res supports (like vitality/clarity) increases the cost to cast demon form, but doesn't give the effect of the support gems. but im going to have to try this infernalist build out (after my first one was converted to a minion build on launch and i didn't understand demon form's bugginess at the start, and i was messing around with weapon swaps at the same time)

My main issue is that even at 87% fire res, I keep kililng myself. Happens in maps or at bosses. I have a life flask that heals 2k and a rawhide belt, but the recovery is just too slow and with only 160 life recovery = ES recovery, it takes forever to charge my ES again if there aren't enough monsters for grim feast. If I only fight a small number or a big boss, i will keep casting and boom - dead because I killed myself. I doubt that 3% extra fire resistance will make much of a difference. Sadly, can not change ascendancies, so I guess that character is more or less lost for me, plus all the divines I invested in it to get the build running. :( Maybe with perfect gear it is better to play, but this seems to be an "all items perfect" or nothing here. Still, it is an amazing combination of different talents and skills. But what is also annoying is the little window where I can actually do damage - anything below 50 stacks just sucks and anything above 200 is death for me as well. Really annoying when you trying to do trials or something else because I always have to wait for my stacks to build up or reset demonform before a larger fight.

I've been killing myself a handful of times with Infernal Flame I believe, I assume just need higher fire resistance? Also I saw in the video you where explaining how to get the rings to higher reduced maximum life. How come we want lower max life? Also is there something that I need to increase CoI procs? I assume the extra fire resist lets me spam hex Blast more which will equal more procs? Many thanks

1) Your demon form takes 0.5% of MAX hp per second (and minimum 1) So you need your max life to be as closer as possible to 200. 2) Use catalyst (Life version) from Breaches on your ring so it will be 24% instead of 20. 3) energy of CoI scales off Ignite power. And Ignite scales off initial hit (your hexblast). To proc it more consistently you simply need to hit harder.

"From Nothing" jewel gives you access to the lower tree circle of regen nodes; you can take both Bulwark or Unwavering Stance. I don't know how you can not take it, the price of one jewel and several passive points is nothing over what I get in exchange. Also already mentioned here but "Against the Darkness" with max fire res+ reduced ignite. I put it in the jewel slot where you picked AoE and critical dmg, though I also took a small aoe circle with notable there too, and also took stun threshold there, all this instead of going to the branch that reduces the damage from ignite. You also don't need to stack full reduction, 70%+ is *more* than enough for ignite to last less than half a second or something like that

Crazy synergy dude, this is what i did: 1. Picked up "Against the Darkness" with max fire res and +4% red. ignite for 2 divines 2. Rolled 1 divine to make it +6% red. ignite (little lucky there) 3. Put it in AOE/crit cluster 4. Take "Heart tissue" instead of "Glazed flesh" for damage recoup 5. Take "Austerity measures" instead of "Asceticism" for stun threshold 6. Take "Calibration" for 50% ES 7. Take both AOE notables 8. Path down to take "Total incineration" for ignite chance and crit bonus (i think its a really good node for this build since bosses are always ignited) Conclusion: You have 7% increased max fire res and 96% reduced ignite duration (basicly immune) for 1 jewel slot, and you can skip "Fireproof" node on left side of tree and invest those points around "Against the Darkness" jewel.

Recoup does not work with Zealoth's oath, you shouldnt stack any recoup. If you doing it for your life to stay alive on higher flame stacks then it is extremely niche situations worthy.

yes you crash when you touch the time traps but you can turn off demon form to do the "find the exit" rooms. idk why youre saying you cant clear santum when i cleared it MANY times without an issue. you can also use immune to ignite charms if you cant afford all those jewels.

Honestly, I don't know how to stabilize survivability. I have 200 HP, 89 fire resistance, 5k ES, and if I roll breaches with high density and damage, there's a high chance I'll get overwhelmed by the crowd. Moreover, on intense maps with many modifiers and mobs, it's very hard to maintain overcap Grim Feast. Most of the time, you're running with overcap, which gets quickly consumed due to Pyromantic Pact. The build has amazing single-target damage. With 50 stacks, map clearing becomes very enjoyable. However, in my opinion, Hexblast feels clunky for clearing due to its base cast speed and AoE. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives for clearing. Spark has very low base damage. Of course, this is specifically about maps with 6 affixes, where mobs have an enormous number of modifiers. If anyone has ideas, I'd be happy to hear them.

Interesting build. I'm getting frustrated playing with as infernalist Detonate Dead in maps, some mechanics (delirium and some ritual monsters mainly) don't leave a corpse on the ground and Ultimatum ones disappear so fast lol. Will definitely give a try since it's almost the same setup😅

Please tell me you know about the Sacrifice skill, right? You can use your own minions to blow up. High level Skeletal Brutes have *way* more hp than most map mobs. And you can use a couple clerics to then chain revive them just to blow up again.

For anyone struggling to meet the spirit requirements i recommend using cursed ground instead of blasphemy to keep uptime on curses for hexblast - it's not idea but its a very good alternative.

I just wanted people to know if you are using stiched demon swap tech, you can also swap out both your mings hearts, this will lead to only being able to hit 400-500 stacks of demonflare but it fixes all mana issues and also gives you a chance to just add 80 rarity into the build for breach farming, super good/ you can also only remove 1 mings heart and get up to around 500-650 with life flask

Thoughts on Ingenuity + 2x Mings and using a normal big ES chest instead? sounds like it would be big dmg with the extra as chaos being multiplied, and it takes me to like 80hp

finaly got what i need for this build, i stand at 59% of damage taken recouped as life and i think i'll try to go to (Pliable flesh) as i have 5.7k of ES currently try to hit 75% of Recouped as life

one thing you can try is take 'eldritch will' and 'hallow' which take 5 points and use a freeze charm, but u save all the energy shield stun threshold/freeze treshold nodes (about 8). for me it works PERFECTLY, no stuns or freezes though i do run a bit higher energy shield. great take on the build though, ty, i was looking for a cool infernal flame concept that actually works. have u tried messing around with the 'mask of the stitched demon'? i have a 0,07% version so would love to implement it as well.

Man I tried to figure out how to make something just like this work on Maxrolls build editor and I just wasn’t sure recoup would be enough to mitigate the self ignite and I wasn’t sure how I’d get enough fire resistance. Very cool you figured it out definitely gotta level my demon mommy now. I don’t have the divines for the damn rings atm though. I should’ve bought them when they were a couple exalts.

@ I haven’t looked in a bit but last I did they were even with the price of a divine in exalts. So they legitimately a divine. Maybe they have come down but with Witch gaining popularity I doubt it. Mathil is playing Demon Form as well.

Great build. Personally I've found controlled destruction procs ignite much more consistently than inevitable crit, especially at lower stacks.

very cool build and i was trying to follow it but after doing a few maps now, ive yet to see my hexblast ignite an enemy at all. on the moba guide it says you should start to see it at 30--50 stacks but anywhere from 1-200 i havent seen an ignite go off at all. not sure if anyone else has had a similar issue but any help would be great. thanks

From looking at other comments, you need your third ascendancy, to get the node that gives ignite chance to all hits/dmg

Less as a description of affixes is the inverse of More; multiplicative. Decreased is the notation for the additive category, juxtaposed to Increased.

For the crit chance "less" is the inverse of "more" so it is multiplicative. "reduced" is the inverse of "increased".

Wanted to give my feedback on this build - I have invested close to 50-60d on this build and have been using it almost 2 days now. Mostly the jewels which are all 12% +2 or higher were the cost. This build is an amazing bosser. Nukes them. however its terrible for mapping. i was running a skeletal archer build before thsi with insane clear speed and really good boss nuking. not this level of boss nuking but good. I would die maybe one in 30 maps. With this build im dying 1 in 3 maps. The biggest issue your going to face is getting cornered nonstop with this build and killed. Imo comet just doesnt proc enough unless your 150+ stacks. even at 150+ its still not proccing enough. When your fighting regular packs comet rarely procs. So your pretty much using hexblast only until you come up against a rare or boss. Then comet hits and deletes. But its all the trash in between thats going to make your life hell. IMO if your wanting to map dont switch to this thinking its going to do really good. It doesnt. If you want to melt bosses this is your build. Grateful to the creator and not bashing, jsut giving my honest opinion on where it sits as is.

I'm having a different experience. I start getting comet procs at 40 stacks. From 0 to 40, hexblast kills white/blue mobs with 1 or two casts. (I replaced searing flames with another damage support) I stopped dying once I started using the Stone Charm that's mentioned in the video.

​@BboyYinn i was running t17 and t18 maps and hexblast sometimes would kill garbage or sometimes not then I get 2 tapped from being pinned. I'm sure you can map woth it but it's not efficient. You can't fly around the map and get in and out to move to next. I gave it a good try, just not for me. Like I said amazing bosser but not what I would even call b tier for mapping. Lots of comments saying same thing. I wouldnt really see consistent comets until I hit 100 stacks. Then your trying to push as fast as you can after that so you don't lose your stacks. I honestly went back to the sniper build I was using and with all the plus minion I got im beating bosses faster then this was for me. It def wasn't a lack of gear. So I'm im sure some simp will say skill issue but w/e.

if you want more mapping dmg just take out searing flame on hexblast while you clear maps, pop it back in for bosses. you'll gain 25% dmg that way on your spam ability

Probably cuz it reduces the frequency of self-lnflicted fire damage leading to lower life recoup

Im running Infernalist myself and you should get a Time-Lost diamond with maximum fire resist and put it next to your old minion node. It can easily provide you with additional +4/5 max fire resist and a second bonus on top (+max chaos resist for me)

Thanks ive been using this as my base guide for the pyromatic pack problem. Question, does Energy Recharge RATE (not energy recharge) affect for faster ES recharge while flasking using Zealot's Oth & eternal youth? Cause 1 of those 2 big note makes you stop recharging ES.

@ Even tho your life flask is being applied to your ES its still scaled by things like increased life recovery, flask recovery rate, flask duration

Could anyone help me understand what Am I doing wrong, I'm using non crit version of the build, 223 max hp, 6200es, 58% recoup, 144 life regen (may be little too low), every resist maxed (fire 90%) I keep dying in maps and theres a message on chat that my character commited suic***, build itself works amazingly when it works but I am getting really annoyed from constantly dying wasting good maps, I have a suspicion that it may be because that I dont have increased life recovery from flask on my belt. NEED HELP I NEED DEMON MOMMY TO WORK I NEED THIS

@@riccardopaolucci hey if you're interested I solved problem by using mask of the stiched demon but its using a bug so it might get patched in the future. How it works you just get as much energy shield as possible on your rare helmet other stats dont matter, then you go into a demon form and switch rare helmet to unique mask, you get like 1000 hp regen and keep energy shield due to bug, its really good, you dont need any life recoup I unspected it and went for more jewel slots with life recovery rate

Thanks for the build guides, I'm new to aRPG's since D2, and you've made my witch way more fun to play. I wanted to ask though, with resistances need to be stacked in 4 slots, I can't reasonably stack any item rarity, do you think its a must have? Although I haven't seen much come from it when I had 70% running, the way its hyped I feel like I'm wasting my time if I don't run it.

I think you can use ritualistic curse on blasphemy inn addition to mag. I didn't test it for sure but it changes the tooltip radius
