Great suggestion about using regular pedals. We focus so much on efficiency, we forget that winter time isn’t about smashing out watts. Thanks for watching!

I have issue in one foot due to a motorcycle accident. It's always cold. Highly recommend winter cycling boots, game changer. Wear with thermal socks and I'm good for a few hours of UK weather. Top half is just layers and layers haha. Good base layer, windproof castelli jacket and an optional gilet if it bad. Legs are castelli bib tights. If it's really cold so Nike Combat Spatz go over the top as an extra layer.

Good video. With the right gear, cycling in the winter is pretty fun. Without the right gear, cycling in the winter is miserable. It doesn't get that cold where I'm at but 40s and 50s are cold enough.

My feet also run super cold. I've found a pair of merino wool socks (can find pretty cheap on Amazon) underneath a pair of windproof/waterproof bamboo socks does the trick. I don't even need shoe covers down to 30 degrees. I haven't tested lower than that yet. Good vid!!

Hi Patrick, thank for the review. I am using since 10 years some Gore windstopper, but would like to try Castelli rig. I'm 175 and 78 kg, usually wearing M size, waswondering if L size of Perfetto would be the enough....could you measure and let me know the width between armpits and the one at the base of the zipper ? Could help me in comparing the 2 type of brands/fits and ordering online in this Sale period. Thanks so much
