Another stunner. Do Italians appreciate just how beautiful their country is, or are they « used to it » and take it for granted? To me, Italy is like sunsets : I would never get tired of seeing more.

@@StillWanderer Well then, they should vacation in some shitty countries, to put things in perspective. Going to Italy makes me think that Canada sucks (which, in some regards, it does), but going to other «lesser» destinations sure makes me appreciate what we have. Potable water, paved roads, free healthcare, decent infrastructure, cheap electricity, social programs, etc... We lack history, culinary delights and stunning architecture though. And italian women.

@@hugolafhugolaf but Hugo! Canada is one of my favourite ever country actually. Lived there when I was 16-17 y.o. Miss it to bits... Loved everything about it. Still a few friends there , we chat from time to time in facebook. So memorable memories there ... Gorgeous country and nature is absolutely amazing. But true that we usually don't appreciate where we are: same to me in Italy sometimes. We complain a lot...and i do too from time to time I must admit )

@@StillWanderer Canada certainly isn't the worst place to live on the planet, I'll give you that, but it lacks a lot of things that Italy does have (the scenery, the food, etc...). I would gladly export our non-smoking habits to Italy though. Getting smoked in the face while trying to have a nice Spritz outside a restaurant pissed me off to no end.

Thank you so much dear Ivan. Ohhhh....LOVED Castiglione very much, my favourite kind of town: a little deserted, almost unknown yet so rich in art and history. Beautiful day it was there. Yup, I also add more historical info lately , hoping people can enjoy that too in subtitles (and in other languages too)

Riccardo thanks for the beautiful place you take us to. I was born in Italy and when we emigrated to Canada in 1967 I was only 6 and 1/2 years of age. Been to Italy with my wife and daughter once almost 7 years ago. We went from north to south and we loved it. Watching your videos leaves me in awe of the beauty I left behind...wish we had never left. But who knew. Thanks again and keep them coming.

Glad the videos can be appreciated; trying often to search for the unusual "off-the-beaten-path" towns: some of them are famous, but many aren't but are gems in disguise.. Riccardo, this is a very beautiful town I must say. The drone footage and the panoramas showing the sounding valleys are breathtaking. The only thing missing from these towns in central Italy are the people who reside in there. Try to film some of them when people are around. When you show a Piazza one expect to see people there. Just a suggestion. However, I enjoyed video and could have been even better with people around, it looked like a ghost town. Thanks for the good work as usual.

Dear Esther nice to see you again and glad you enjoyed also this new walk. Castiglione was quite a surprise for me as well. About people - I know what you mean... I only can film during weekends and unfortunately, and strangely, most of the towns seem a little deserted. I try to visit in the best times but sometimes it's just like that. Unpredictable too before going unfortunately. Though, as you can see, I try to mix in-between with cities full of people like Venice. I'm sure that with the summer arriving more people will be seen, but sometimes these towns aren't just..... Touristy enough to attract people. It's my "mission" to give them a chance. They truly deserve I think. Next week there'll be a town with quiet a lot of people though... A small surprise) Wish you a nice weekend!

@@estherkisob9919 agreed, sometimes in the evening is better. Today visited a beautiful town at 4pm.. Same ... Few people :( some towns are just not visited unfortunately. It seems, unfairly so, that all tourists go all to the same famous places :/ but I'll try to improve on the time for sure or to mix in between them more

イタリアの地方も石造建築ですが、入り口部分などに、一部レンガが使われていましたね。この点は興味深かったですね。又石造ベンチの背もたれ部も石のようでした、これも興味深かったです。ガス灯のデザインもかなり古風な感じで素敵でした。
