Casting Impressions Norway 2023 Lygna Mandal Bjerkreim Laksefiske

some impressions from the recent trip to south norway, heading for atlantic salmon..

keep in mind, this was my first ever trip fishing this style.

I updated the description, I build the Rod myself, from an Fireneedle Blank, 12,6 #8-9, nothing special, but a custom made nikelsilver winding check.

Hmm, jeg har kun ett tips. Glem at du noensinne har hørt om T snap og bruk et helt normalt speycast og ditt liv som laksefisker blir øyeblikkelig bedre. Hvis du bare skal kaste og ikke fiske kan du fortsette med T snap...

Jeg er nybegynner, det var første gang jeg fisket laks. Jeg bruker bare alltid den teknikken som passer meg best i situasjonen. Og nei, jeg er ikke bare en kaster, jeg har også fanget min første laks, video i kanalen min.

@@TheArtOfAlexlast year when i started i always used t snap but this year i started speycasting. Faster and easier. Also i can cast further

@@tuukkapitkanen yes, I strugled with setting the anchor right, snap was easier and more consistent, but when you look to the very end of the video I did manage some nice spey casts 👌

@@TheArtOfAlex yes. When the anchor is right, the fishing and casting etc becomws faster and easier. My opinion

did you read the descriotion? its the first time I casted this way. In the later sequence of the video ( Bjerkreim 12:59 ) there I switched to Singlespey, but had some struggle with linemanagement and anchorplacement..
