Besides the perfect part was Kate knew what his favorite food is. So I loved it. Her caressing the vest after putting it on him. Oh they are so cute together. I love how they made him a writers vest. Its brilliant. In the Mentalist they dont even give the consultant a vest...The Mentalist is very much like Castle for those of you who dont know and if you like Castle I think youll like The Mentalist.

Check the scene where she is adjusting his bullet proof jacket. You can see the ring intermittently of it on her hand. It is nice to see. Up until last week she wasn't even wearing it on the chain. It will be interesting to see if she continues to wear it when she is back on duty in the 12th. Wonder if a cop should be wearing a rock like that.

I think it's because in this episode, she wasn't on the job. And when she's working again at the precinct she stops wearing it on her hand as well. I guess it must be to keep it safe.

Yep so glade she did there are really so many questions to why she never wore it as a fed on her finger and the only thing I can think of she was afraid she lose it or it would get stolen or she really could not enjoy it so much without having her fiancee with her .Then really never said why I mean we know she wore it around her neck so she was wearing it .To be honest it really don't matter .
