For sherbet you can just attack the door like this: Jump -> Heavy Attack -> Light attack -> Heavy attack -> light attack -> heavy attack ..... Until you get up there. Just a helpful tip for those who don't have upgraded magic.

For the pet that needed the magic jump at the end, me and my brothers didn't need that, my brother plays as the orange one, and he jumped up at the locked door, pounding it to get a bit higher, then he used his fireball attack to propel himself further into the air and he managed to get it :D

For the cat you don't need the magic jump. just press X while jumping and then press it 3 more times then press y. Repeat until you get to the top. Remember the pattern is xxxxy.

You don't actually need the magic jump to get that animal orb above the door, you can just jump and keep hitting y and x and it will cause you to float up close enough to get it.

You can get the cat by just going up to the door jumping and alternating square and triangle ( or y and whatever the left one is for x-box) it causes you to fly sorta but only if you are hitting something.

Actully for sherbet the car you don't need magic jump, you can also do some combo on the keydoor and you can keep going up and get it that way. That's how I got it anyways

hey guys, you can get Sherbert (little yellow kitty at the end of this video) at anytime in the game. simply go to that locked door in the ark and jump (A) and furiously hit (X) and (Y) combo'ing the door, press up while combo'ing on this door and with a little luck you will attack right up near the top of the screen. Sherbert's yours :D !!!

@PSNpwnsXBL you don't need to upgrade your magic to get to the kitty in the ark. just stand in front of the locked door and jump HIT light attack then strong attack back and forth and you will climb the air that way.(i'm assuming you want the magic boost to get the kitty)

I have beaten him by only using Magic attacks: Magic projectiles (RT+B) to destroy the Paintings and the Magic spell (RT+Y) to finish off the Painter. I heard one of the 26 Animals will destroy the paintings for you, so you just have to deal with the Painter, but i don't know which one you have to equip.

An easier way to get the cat on the ark is to buy a sandwich and attack the door using his spinning arm move. this should propel you into the air high enough to get the cat.

The information on getting the last pet is false, it is quite easy to get the cat w/o the magic jump, simply by doing an air combo on the locked door: 1. Jump and start hitting the door with quick attacks (x repeatedly) 2. after at least 4 or so quick attacks (in rapid succession) do two heavy attacks (y times 2) by doing this you should gain about your character's height 3. Repeat as necessary, being sure not to miss a beat and the cat will be yours, no magic needed.
