Castle | Kate Beckett [Why I hurt]

So this is my take at the "Why I hurt" contest, though I'm not quite sure whether it fits all the requirements with all the voice overs. But once I had started it, it just came naturally and I think all the different quotes actually add to the story and to the emotions Kate has to face. Basically the idea behind the contest was to show why the chosen character hurts in a 1 minute video with one song and at least one quote. And well I hope I achieved that goal. It was pretty hard to limit the video to that one minute, though, considering all the pain Kate is going through. But I hope I did the video justice :)

man, the goosebumps :'( love the voiceovers. the one by Alexis is particularly heartbreaking. and the ending with Kate being afraid that happiness means letting her mom down just kills me. great job!

Seriously, this video is AMAZING!!! It's a miracle she's not gone completely gone of the rails with all that's happened to her! .... :'( She is so strong, and I love her to pieces!! I love the story about her mother and the big plot-arc behind it all, I can't wait until it unravels and the mystery and all the drama is solved and played out :)

She's such a strong character and it's amazing that she still manages her life so well despite all the pain she's confronted with.
