Cuphead seems a bit inspired from this game, but I’m surprised nobody talks about it! The clown has a mix of Goopy and Werner, and the dragon’s background reminds me of BonBon!

Taking down the tree though is much easier than that. You're supposed to hang on to more apples, and just jump up when he comes at you and then when he lands you throw an apple at him. If you stay where you start the acorns can't get you.

I'm going to say which version of each boss fight i prefer the old oak tree- remastered jack in the box remastered BECAUSE YOU CANT JUST STAND STILL AND AVOID ALL OF HIS ATTACKS the weird green goblin people- remastered i like how the swimming bit actually is somewhat difficult! the candy dragon- original the candy dragon in remastered is PATHETIC. YOU ONLY HAVE TO STAND ON 1 COOKIE AND JUMP WHENEVER HE THROWS A COOKIE. AND ONLY HAVE TO SWITCH A PLATFORM TO AVOID HIM MAKING YOU FALL INTO THE MILK the clock tower guy- original. I don't know why but the original is somewhat better just by a little bit. final boss- remastered the original is simply to easy in my opinion. the remastered version is better in my opinion which is really good.
