I’m sure your narrating voice Alessa is getting posher but still as fascinating as ever! The approach to this castle was lovely! Don’t know why but got a real Lord of the Rings vibe from this one think it was the names! The history, yet again was on point and super fascinating! Comfortable routes to the toilets are important while being wined and dined 😂 The white room was interesting. Wow as if some squatters got to live there! Shame you hit that locked door! The earthworks are incredible! Love imagining Isabella’s interior design! And wow 🤩 Brett superb flying and this one looks incredible from the skies! Certainly got a moody day for your visit, well timed. An evil Queen? Sold! Leper colonies? Were they really a thing? This period of history seems to draw more from the lord of the rings than it does to our actual history! This is definitely a furtive period we know nothing about, thanks for bringing it to our attention. Roger Moortimer? Any relation to the lovely James Bond? Lovely choice of music for this tour. 12th Century life was very different, its easy to picture as we walk the grounds. Sounds very lavish, a comfort built Castle from locally sourced stone. Free parking? Another big check. So many great things to do in the area. Learning and enjoying so much more from these videos now. As always the drone shots really show off the sweeping beauty of the place! ❤
