Early Castle episodes always make me smile. Even with the grim stories, the relationships are always so sweet

I like this episode. I wasn't expecting the twist that the mother was involved in the daughter's kidnapping, and I thought the actors who played the parents were excellent. I could understand the mom's frustration and anger, but at the same time she did something so terrible and emotionally devastating. When the husband says, "How could you hate me so much?" and she says, "You made it easy"? Ouch. Major gut punch. Strong episode!

Still can't believe Carla (I will always see her from Scrubs) did that. Pretty sad episode all things considered. Was nice to see Castle flex though in front of Beckett's ex lol.
