Getting married to "the love of her life" was obviously really good for Stana. She's lighter and happier BTS than she was in recent blooper reels (especially the s6 one). I don't care what anyone says, she looks like she's having a great time! But I agree with many here, it's like she and Nathan have an unspoken embargo on speaking to each other and it's way obvious. Whatever, they're professionals and they did the job, so kudos to them.

Well I'm certainly not convinced there was any tension between Nathan and Stana during the last few seasons of the show's run. There have always been rumours that they weren't getting along but there was never any proof of it. For as many fans as there were talking about how great the show was, there were a significant number of others who constantly criticized it. I believe it was some of the people critical of the show who tried to spread rumours that Nathan and Stana weren't getting along on a reasonably frequent basis. Nathan in particular had been harshly treated by some fans, who only wanted to give Stana credit for everything. Stana obviously made Kate Beckett an amazing character and deserves a lot of credit, but Nathan was also brilliant as Richard Castle. Both of them elevated their characters to a level that made most of us proud and in a place where we were riding their every emotion. If there was any tension between the two actors would they have really been able to elevate their characters to the level they did?

Guys!! Please stop believing those shitty rumors about Stana and Nathan not getting on well together irl! Here are some reasons why you really should NOT believe those: 1. of all it has NEVER been confirmed by ANYone! All you read was ONE article, called a „secret source“ (you should never trust a „secret source“ in general but ok) 2. Look at how much fun everybody’s got! I know there are not a lot of Caskett bloopers but the thing is that they haven’t even had so many scenes together as in past seasons! The guy who wrote the film-stories got changed for season 8 and honestly: This guy had no clue how to make sweet, cute, intimate, memorising and funny Caskett moments!Tbh s8 flopped a LOT! It was not just the Caskett point, it is like kind of the whole cast! What about Ryposito moments? What about Belexis moments? What about just the whole moments between EVERYBODY who had a relationship any way in the show??? They ALL got less and worse! Not just the Caskett scenes!This is the reason why I personally hate the 8th season! It really flopped and I never want to watch any episodes of s8 bc I wanna keep Castle as something GOOD and GORGEOUS in mind! (Not as sth bad) 3. Look at the very beginning how Nathan & stana are making fun and smiling TOGETHER ;) But well, if you really think that two people who hate each other would be like that, than think so! i still don't believe all those rumors about stana and nathan, and him being a bully or stana being not satisfied with him, i think those are lies created in order to cover something up. they were too good of friends with great chemistry, no matter how good actors can be, THAT wouldn't be pulled off without chemistry and friendship. I WANT A SEASON 9 also stana at 0:52 though and omg ESPO 2:25 Update, 4 years later. I just rewatched these bloopers and for a second, believed in the horrible rumor that Stana and Nathan didn’t get along, and I read all these comments that “it’s so obvious, they’re not even speaking in the bloopers” etc And it got me thinking On every season, of every show, in all the bloopers I have ever seen (which includes Castle) there are scenes, where, one actor could be laughing or saying something funny or doing a bit, and the other one is looking of into the distance and not doing anything, because they might be tired/ hungry/ pmsing/ thinking about their performance/ thinking about something personal/ or simply zoning out. It happens to everyone, and there are plenty of bloopers on castle where the actors are simply tired. What I think the producers - who kicked Stana out and lied about it, saying she left - did an amazing job of strengthening the rumor that they created - which is that apparently Nathan and Stana didn’t get along. They might have purposefully cut out all the good bloopers these two had in the last season, leaving only these awkward scenes where they’re not speaking to each other at all, thus, making the rumor seem more real. But even still, there are moments where you can see Stana smiling at Nathan or laughing at what he did/said and vise versa. He’s literally picking his nose with her finger in one of the scenes, and she seems cool about it. You can’t do that with someone you had a falling out with😂You cannot possibly look at the bloopers from season 7 - where you see them having so much fun - and then look at these ^ bloopers and believe that it’s realistic that they went from best buddies to strangers in less than a year. Honestly, fuck whoever started that rumor.

0:46-1:01 yeah, i dont feel there is everything fine between her and Nathan. Compare it to S1-S5 bloopers, they genuinely looked so much easier around each other even during serious scenes. Also the fact that there are almost zero shared scenes in bloopers with them, while previous seasons' bloopers had like 80% of Stana and Nathan goofing together.

Great out takes of a sensational show, On the Nathan / Stana front I do believe that Nathan was more than a partner and co star he really loved her as in the script but when she got engaged and married it all turned to custard. No writing was ever going to change that fact.

That theory doesn't hold much weight. Nathan, while pretty private about his personal life, was in relationships throughout the series, and was even engaged at one point. The general consensus is they're both good people who just had personalities that didn't gel. It happens. Nothing dramatic, just plain old life. But that's not exciting so of course the rumour mills were set ablaze.

TBH - For me - it felt like season 8 was thrown together at the last minute. Past seasons have had something in them that carried on right throughout and connected each season but this season didn't seem to have that. I thought they could do a lot better based on seasons 1-7

The actors were definitely great as always and they can only work with what they're given. Unfortunately in life, people fall out or just don't get along and in acting, that can affect a performance and show up in the work. Love all of the cast though and I'm grateful for the 8 seasons we got

It has been an awesome show, even if they took a misstep when Castle and Beckett was finally getting married and then they did that weird kidnapping thing, it so deflated all those years of buildup, and then with his amnesia it just got more confusing. But as you said, the entire cast was superb all the way through. I surely will miss it. Good luck to every cast member and thank you for one of the best shows EVER !
