Couple questions. 1. 4 guilds max can be defenders or Legion can consist of non allied guilds meaning the defenders can consist of many more guilds? 2. Is it possible for the rest of attackers to challenge the usurpator? Like scenario where some alliance is doing all the work and then some random guild steals the throne. 3. If defending guild loses the throne(the 3 minutes mark of holding the usurpator title) and the siege is still ongoing to the side changes? As in now the guild who claimed the throne becomes hostile to attackers and original defenders become friendly to the rest of attackers?

1 yes but they will be shown as red because they are not in alliance 2 yes 3 yes but attackers are not friendly each other same rules apply as open world its Alliance vs Alliance

You have defensives in this game, you shotcaller just dont know wtf he is doing. The first few seconds is very decisive, expect everything will be used, so you should pop everything too defensively in a zvz to survive. Guardians, defensive potions, party buffs, food, etc. You have the tools you need.

you can have pvp in rift and boon stones all you want, it's 70v70 and was meant for a fair pvp between guilds.
