Bro ur on a roll! I was glad I subscribed. These videos mean so much to me as a digital artist. I have a weakness for backgrounds.

Hi Jordan, thanks very much for sharing this. I'd be most grateful if you could let me know by how much you have sped up this video from real time. I find it very useful for my own progress to watch artists painting at their original speed so I can learn what they're doing. Thanks again. Adam. Sheffield.

This is sped up by about 2x times the original speed, so this video was about 2 hours long originally. If you'd like to watch it slower just change the speed settings on the KZbin player :)

Hello, sorry, I wanted to ask you a question. How do you change the image to black and white but without losing the color and then back to color again? I have seen it in some of your videos and I would like to be able to put it into practice. Thank you very much, I love your work

Hey! I made a video explaining exactly that here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWrdiHqCrLlsrM0 :)

@@JordanGrimmer Thank you very much for the help, I had been searching the internet for a long time how to do this. I will continue to enjoy your videos and your great work. Thanks again and all is well.

Absolutely awesome! I noticed that my pictures look much more blurry than the pieces I see in your videos... do you sharpen them while you paint or afterwards?
@JordanGrimmer2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! This might be because of your canvas resolution. I always try to use a high res, at least 2000px wide and whatever height, this helps things look less burry.

@@JordanGrimmer Also brush softness and select tool. You seem to achieve your hard edges making extensive use of the select tool

@@boooo6789 I do indeed, I'm also using the default hard round brush alot in this too which gives it that look.
