The problem was the tower. It's holding the card down and the card being held in place is in turn preventing the tower from moving. If you would be able to shake the machine just a little without it tilting, or possibly doing some "forceful" lifting of the flap where the coins fall down in to, you might be able to dislodge it just enough.

If you have played that in the uk the card would been yours ages ago. As soon as stuff touch the side or glass call the attendant & it yours. Worst thing you did was knock down that tower.

In the UK on coin pushers if the prize is touching the glass the vender will automatically give it to you. Is this not the case here?
