Castle Ward Backyard Ultra

My first ultra of the year was the Castle Ward Backyard Ultra in Northern Ireland, where I was competing with Team Scotland as part of the Four Nations Trophy. Last year's first backyard attempt in Leeds would hopefully prove vital in my attempts to reach 24 loops and 100 miles.

I enjoy watching backyard ultras all over the world, but PLEASE slow your panning shots down. Too fast and people get dizzy. Too slow and its tarpits. I literally had to close my eyes when you intended me to enjoy the scenery or groups of people. I'm a nobody when it comes to video editing but a little slower will make a big difference. Thanks.

I’m not a professional videographer and don’t have that much time to make it perfect I’m afraid. I put the videos online to give people an insight into my running exploits and I think thus far I’ve done a decent job. While I enjoy taking videos on the GoPro, I think I can be forgiven for sometimes not creating perfect shots when the primary focus will always be the run itself.
