That was a great slideshow and it was so nice to see the Kelly Family Bakery and the Black Diamond Band, with my dad Cathal Kelly. We miss him terribly. The family visited Castlecomer in 2007 It was the last trip my dad made to Ireland. He often spoke of home. He loved the people of Castlecomer. It was very special to be able to share it with him..Michael and Mary Hester are the most amazing hosts and I swear Hester can pull a rabbit out of a hat. Well at least a "tire". And a shout out to Chubby! Thanks for a great visit Castlecomer!

While on holidays in Clogh as a child my Aunt would have a birthday cake made for my friend John Maher and myself,we were born the same day.The cake was made by Kellys Bakery Castlecomer with "Happy Birthday John John " on it,I have a photograph of Diarmuid Kelly.

I just visited Castlecomer and a couple of graveyards last month (Mar 2019) in search of BRENNAN family information. My husband took a picture of me in front of O'Braonain's ! I was surprised to see your photo of the place!!!! What is the history of that place? Is it a business?
