Hi, just subscribed. Very informative and inspirational - your garden is immaculate! I would love to see how your wife prepares all the fresh produce...perhaps a photo at the end of the video of a meal or a segment on how to cook, blanch & freeze etc.

Castle Hill Garden Gummy worms and bears and the like are like a stiff jelly like candy. Real crap as food goes in my opinion. LOL! Killing moles is better than eating them.. LOL!
@AcornHillHomestead6 жыл бұрын
shannon stephens good use for them. LOL! We have lots of moles. 🤨

Hi Cliff.Great video as always. Can you use the soap spray for flea beetle control or is there something else? Thanks.
@CastleHillGarden6 жыл бұрын
Hi AJWGBFX, the flea beetle is very hard to eradicate the soap spray has no effect. Do try to find something a bit stronger, pyrethrum might help this is organic. Thanks for watching regards Cliff.

we have a mole that killed my apple tree! i really hate him. i think ill set some traps this year
@CastleHillGarden Жыл бұрын
Hi British Homestead, last year I tried a ultrasonic mole repellent. It was like a spike you pushed in the ground, It gives of a high pitched sound. They were slowly driven away. I would try those before you start using a trap. Take care regards Cliff.

Moles have eaten almost my entire onion crop this year. 😢 Even people don’t eat that many onions in a short period of time!
@CastleHillGarden6 жыл бұрын
Hi Janette.. sorry the moles have destroyed your onions, I am also having trouble with one at the moment. I bought some jelly babies to put in their runs, but Diane has eaten them all lol. Hope you get It sorted out. Enjoy the rest of your week regards Cliff.
