Wish Vincent still had his iconic yell. A nice harsh "CATHERINE!" to kick it off would help set the tone of both the narrative as well as the musical cues. Lots of energetic bursts with moody melodies. Fits perfectly with the game's presentation.

@@crowcade I _do_ miss that part! Him yelling "Catherine!?", and her being oblivious to his predicament with barbed wire leaves an image you won't soon forget. But, as a Remix to the original? I think this theme really pays homage to the idea of love as you go down a familiar path, but with a twist.

the original theme is used in the axis mundi stage in babel and it fits so much better there than in the main menu

The way I see it, Rin is on the piano, Katherine is on the violin or cello, and Catherine is doing that other sound(couldn't tell if that's a electronic keyboard). That tapping sound would probably be Vincent.

I like this a ton more than the original's main menu theme, which I had to go back just now to remember. Much more playful and eccentric. Hope this carries into the rest of the game when I get to it :)

More of a Remix because they added Rin, new stages and of course new endings but the past routes from what we saw in the demo and in the live playthroughs on atlustube are a bit different. I think they will not touch the fmv's from each known ending tho. We saw clips from two of them in the trailers.
