Great video. The Redings Mill Castle near Joplin is breathtaking, and has quite the history.

I've been to the place Chateau Charmont, also known as Castleshire. Beautiful sight and they have a website where you can ask for more information and get in contact directly with the owners.

That's awesome!!! I've started seeing ads on them now, I hope their business is expanding!

I see the beautiful castles and just think of how much cleaning and maintenance is needed!

Yes, that's one thing I'm sure with it being older you're going to have a hard time making sure it's all clean! 😅

Hello I really enjoy your videos. I live in Mississippi now but I was born and lived the majority of my life in Missouri. I have a couple of castles in Missouri to mention. Parkhurst castle in my hometown of Sedalia, Mo. which is now bed and breakfast, I believe. And Stuart castle Eureka, Mo. There is a video I seen on KZbin of Stuart castle of a lady walking around looking at it.

Stuart Castle near Eureka, MO. Greisidick Castle at Tapawingo Golf Course in St. Louis County, MO. Then there's Wood-Smith Castle, aka. "the unfinished castle", in Bee Tree Park in Oakville, MO. However, Ameren Electric destroyed it.

Missouri was once part of New France - which was an empire from Montreal to Michigan and down to New Orleans. New France could not compete with the U.S. primarily because they only wanted Catholics in New France. And the English were settling with Germans, Dutch, Scandinavians, English, Spanish....and French non-Catholics. .... So Missouri is old.

VERY old. Some of that old time history is sure fascinating! 🤩

I like your videos but please do more research before you post your information. Ha Ha Tonka Castle was built by wealthy business man Robert Snyder from KC NOT St Louis. He died in a car accident and the castle was completed by his sons.
