The Spinners are my favourite music group, and this is my favourite song by them. This is the first video I've ever uploaded a video on here, so please forgive the amateur-ness of it :-)

My grandfather bought this record for my parents back in the 1970s when they started fostering. He wasn't an effusive man but this showed them how proud he was of their decision to become foster carers. It's a special song for all of my family.

I cried to this song as a child, and do so today. sorry abut your childhood, mine still haunts.I felt very unwanted as a 6 year old in a boarding school, all I wanted was a simple home and a bed to call my own.
