No ones pointed this out yet but if you look, Lisa has golden rays of light over her and it's been interpreted as meaning that she has Heaven's protection - That when she died, she went to Heaven, and then chose to go to Hell to be with Dracula, and her goodness of character was enough to not only grant this request but have God extend his protection to her down there.

14:46 That hell looked really close the the hell in the book "Dante's Inferno" (the Divine Comedy). I think that here is the forrest of human trees, the trees being the people that killed themselves in life. The Sandman show also had that forrest in hell if I remember correctly. In the scene after that, I think in the last layer/ ring of hell from Dante's Inferno was a frozen sea with people submerged in the ice depending on how bad their sins were.

So yeah, probably not the best idea to attack at nightfall, now that half the village is a burning sacrifice to the visitor. Quite a juxtaposition that Trevor, Sypha and Isaac are in brutal life-threatening combat while Alucard and Hector are...not...well ish for Alucard's case. Sumi and Taka were far too distrusting and impatient, and they preyed on his vulnerability. For Hector meanwhile, Lenore knew he would never be loyal to Carmilla, so she made him loyal -to that pussay- via macguffin blood pact rings in an almost effortless manipulation, effortless, sexy manipulation. Though the combat scenes were excellent, Isaac just completely storming the place and then you have Sypha and Trevor dishing out brutal fatalities

as an Italian I hate that every time people are to see ice in hell they are surprised, when here and common knowledge that the last circle of Dante's Inferno where the traitors reside and therefore Lucifer's throne is covered in ice, but I don't blame anyone here, in Italy for that matter the divine comedy is part of the school curriculum I repeat, it's normal that in the rest of the world people have no idea but it hurts a little 😅 I hope I expressed myself decently

The waves of people, the wizard sent against Isaac, fighting both separately and as one are a reference to Legion; the one who is many. Legion is a boss that has appeared in many Castlevania games (including Curse of Darkness, as a secret boss), and is depicted as sphere of humanoid beings wrapped around a central figure. In order to defeat Legion, you must break through the sphere of humans, and kill the being controlling it; in this case the wizard in the tower.
@YukoValis Жыл бұрын
So that giant ball of bodies is a reference to a Castlevania boss that has appeared in multiple games. Legion. Thankfully it seemed to be just bodies as most times there is a tentacled creature inside.

@spiraljumper74 Жыл бұрын
@@alecLoganYeah I don’t get the people taking ish with Hector’s choices. He was tortured with a forced march for months by Carmilla which irl tends to break people’s abilities to independently reason. Then Lenore comes in, provides a realistic appraisal of his situation, and offers to make deals. She was logical, reasonable, made arguments designed to appeal specifically to Hector, and most importantly was pretty and probably smelled rather nice. She essentially positioned herself as Hector’s literal only friend in the world and the only person he could trust. These are real life techniques for psychological manipulation used against long-term, high intelligence-value prisoners. Usually without the sex though. I think it all checks out.

I will forever defend Hector in this situation, no matter how much you think it's dumb.... You cannot say that you would've acted differently in his position. It's Really Easy to judge his actions from an outside point of view. And besides.... He is the victim here... He betrayed Dracula because the man didn't trust him with the truth of his plan. He then was betrayed by Carmilla who double-crossed him and tortured him into submission.... and now he is being manipulated by Lenore. Putting the blame on him makes you guys look really bad 😅.
