a friend of mine made a 2a03 and n163 cover of the original track of this. Surprisingly, it sounds pretty accurate since at the time he was working to perfect a method to convert audio saved as raw text values into the 32 step waves that the namco n163 chip takes in such a way that as long as your sound isn't too advanced, it can sound sort of like the instrument you sampled despite being a wave table definition that's only 32 steps long. I recently rebuffed that cover with new wave forms that sound more like the real instruments than the time when my friend did it first. My friend's original cover is on youtube if anyone wants to watch it.
