Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Death

I'd say that Death is a little harder than he was in Aria of Sorrow. But he's not all that hard to begin with. He has 2 phases. In the first phase, he'll throw his scythe, which will then turn into a circle of sickles. You can attack the sickles to avoid getting hit by them. He will also summon 3 copies of himself and shoot a beam towards the ground. Simply stand between the copies to avoid getting hit by it. Lastly, he will appear behind you and try to hit you with his scythe, just move away from him and you shouldn't get hit.
Second phase isn't all that hard, the difficulty barely changed. He'll now appear behind you and try to slash you again, but now you have to duck to avoid it. He will throw his scythe and it'll follow you around for a certain distance, just keep moving away from it untill it flies back towards Death. He'll also shoot 4 white beams out of his body. Simply move away in the opposite direction from the skull heads to avoid them.

This is one of my favorite deaths out of all the Castlevanias I've played. I especially like the attack where the giant skulls try to chomp on you.

I have so many painful memories from my Naked Soma run of fighting Death on hard. All that level grinding, and I still only did 1 damage a punch. Punching a boss 4444 times is not easy.

Aria of Sorrow Death is a lot harder IMO. Mostly because that one is more relentless, doesn't give as much gaps for you to attack, uses lasers more often, and also spams those little sickles more.

In this game you cant kill bosses, you only seal them.

To be honest, Death was "Killed many times like Dracula, but in Dawn, you only seal them, not destroy

If you have difficult against death, use the werewolf soul to evade the giants skulls attack, use persephone soul to suck the small scythes attacks and use Erinys soul to inflict great damage. But you will need to spend much MP to use theses abilities. So, equip rune ring with treant soul.

Despite Dawn being harder than Aria, I found the Death boss fight in Aria to be harder than the one in Dawn.

Soma also does not possess the Crimson Stone (which made himself Dracula as Mathias Cronqvist almost a thousand years ago) which Death only serve whoever has the stone.

O well, I saw all of the dudes Run in Dawn of Sorrow, is not that boring, also he showed a somewhat different pattern when evading Agunis Fire Ball, though yours is much more reccomendable. Nice Job till now. Hope you show Julius Mode and the rest of the Modes if possible

Fucking crap balls shit fuck. Death on hard mode is bloody insane >.< I used a potion, had about 450 - 550 health, and it was knocked down in less than 2 seconds. This game is such a headache sometimes I swear.

Touch screen controls kinda suck as it is easy to miss an input from tapping. Bluetooth controllers have input lag for me. Do yourself a favor and buy a flashcart or emulate it on your 3DS. That's what i did and never regretted.
