Strategy: This boss can be tough at first, but he really isn't all that hard. You mostly wanna stop attacking him when he gets too close, and consider ducking cause he likes to tilt his head down a little. Other attacks such as firing his laser can be avoided by crouching at his feet. You CAN attack him while doing this, I didn't think of it at the time. He'll also try to suck you in and then bite, you mostly just want to run away from him to not get hit. If you're too close to the wall consider dive kicking on his body to get to the other side. He'll also release poisonous gas. Simply slash at the gas to get it away from you.

That's the English version; the Japanese version says that Gorgoth was a criminal from ancient times who became mutated and messed up, so that's why he looks like somebody's rotten orange peel gone bad

This thing is more depressing than anything. I get the impression that it was a completely normal animal until Dracula revived and mutated it to serve a a guard (actually the same impression I get off Beelzebub, in fact).

For those who don't know, you don't have to jump over when it uses that sucking attack or lazer. If you duck right beside it's legs, those moves won't hurt you. Damn this boss was fun.

The slime soul works wonders here. If you can't get a hold of the flea man soul, slime soul will do great.

I'd love to know how you dodge this mothertrucker's attacks. For me, his attacks (e.g the gas cloud) hit the entire area i'm in. Unfair... how little space you have.

i remember how much struggle i had with him ;) but he was a cool boss to fight so i didn't have much problem with that... i can remember how i killed him and i was so nervous that a failed the magic seal... but i still won xD

I never thought of using Fleamen for part 1; I usually use Slimes, since they bounce all over him in that tiny room.

The back teeth don't appear to be. Besides, that mouth shape literally couldn't fit a carnivore's teeth (not without horrible strain on the jaw, at least).

Well i must admit you were either lucky or my flesh is tasy because Gergoth didn't attacked by the big fall, mine bited me, stomped me and FIRED HIS LAZOR Yeah Gergoth, much like the Puppet Master, freaked me out the first time i saw them and was confused on how beating them, but when i reached this bad dude, 100 touch damage was just demoralizing >_>

oringanally, gergoth was supossed to be beaten, but then if go back to the lost village he'll be there and will chase you around, but that didnt come to be in the real copy of the game

So, apparently it ain't possible to kill Geroth before he breaks the floor. Though, it'd be interesting if it'd be possible.

It didn't crash. When you kill Gergoth (with cheat) before he manages to jump and break the top floor of the tower, then the magic seal will just absorb him and you will be able to exit the room like normally. But if you kill him while you're both falling, he will stop in midair, while Soma keeps falling into the ground (Even Gergoth doesn't destroy some floor, Soma will just pass through them. Meaning to say the floors breaking are simply animations, they are not physically there, dunno if you get me.)
